Bara's Deli, San Leandro CA

This is one of my favorite deli's in the area. I usually get the Italian Club or Cali Club.
They have a variety of sandwiches, meats and bread. Plenty of chips, drinks and sides to select from. Portions are a good size as well.
Everything is made fresh to order. Friendly staff and service.

Delectable! My dad had a sandwich shop when I was a little girl. I'd been looking for a place that made sandwiches like his. At last, I've found one! I ate the whole thing, it was soooo good!

Visiting area for work and this place recommended. Went there a few times. Great sandwiches plus you can get lettuce wraps instead of bread if you like, which I did. Loved it!

It really depends who is behind the counter. I wanted a pastrami and Swiss on sourdough it normally comes toasted i don’t normally say I want it toasted they ask if I want it toasted…I forgot to request it. It came out cold and They wouldn’t remake my sandwich. The male manager said I have to request it before and said I would have to order another sandwich if I wanted it hot.

The last time I was there my order was lost when they changed printer paper and I waited at least 20 minutes before the manager lady noticed she refunded me ten dollars. The female manager is far better at customer service.

There is no food that is tasty enough for poor customer service. Shame on the manager of this establishment. Needs new management

First time: I told the staff it’s my first time and I might need help. But she suggested the bread and was super helpful. Brought the sandwich home and OmG the sandwich was delicious! I got the Bay Area special. I am def going to go back!

Good portion. Clean establishment. Super flavorful sandwich. Clam chowder was okay. Staff is friendly and prompt. Great first time experience overall.

Save your money and get your food elsewhere. Employees do not treat customer kindly nor make.a good sandwich. Highly overpriced.

Great Food. Chipolte Chicken sandwich was excellent. Nice portion of meat and not overwhelming with vegetables. I will be returning to try a few different sandwiches.

Great sandwich. Not cheap but it's extremely filling and enough for two or leftovers the day after.

Awesome sandwiches from a family owned deli. Good drink and chip selection and has ice cream, candy and beer too!

Second time ordering to go from this establishment. The first time I had ordered a simple chicken Caesar salad- the whole batch of romaine was visibly rotten and browned.

Decided to give them another shot a few months down the road- as I had a craving for salad & soup…

Lemon pepper chicken was 3 pieces of sandwich meat folded in half on top of the salad no dressing- lettuce partially gone bad. For 7.99 base Caesar- with a 5 dollar upgrade to add lemon pepper chicken- I should’ve gotten edible food. I also should’ve just avoided this place. There won’t be a third time to see if that’d be the “charm”.

Overpriced- small servings- they clearly aren’t concerned with the quality of the food- which stumps me; when taking into consideration what they are charging people… overall underwhelming and disappointing. You should’nt be serving your guests subpar and rotting ingredients at any price- let alone price gouging what looks like compost.
