No idea if the food is good or not. Stood in line for about 15 minutes where we were told there are no tables available. I offered to wait and was told there is no waitlist- they don’t hold tables, and she didn’t know when one would be open. This is terrible service. If you don’t want business, why be open? Common sense says if you have people waiting, you take steps to make sure they have a positive experience. Guess I will take my money elsewhere, to businesses who actually want the business.

So ecstatic they are seating indoors again, Barb's has hands down the very best seafood in town. Also, the staff our favorite is a very sweet hard working Lady Jeanne a long time server who always goes above and beyond to provide us with the very best dining experience.

Truly the best fish n’ chips! Flavorful. Generous portions, there is a fourth piece under what you see in the pic. Fresh, not frozen. Clam chowder excellent as well, with a sort of cream of potato base with plenty of clams. Highly recommend.

Always enjoy Barbara's Fish Trap. A tiny place but very popular, Indoor seating and outdoor seating. Parking is iffy but ok. Weekend would be a problem. Prices has gone up big time.

Came here when it opened at 11am and there was a line of at least 15 people ahead of us. Parking is just across the street with an attendant watching the parking situation (free parking). This place is cash only! So you can use the atm available but you probably get fee charge for using it. Ordered fish and chips and mini fishtrap tempura (scallops, prawns, fish and calamari). Fish was moist and batter was fluffy and light. The scallops was juicy and very tasty. Calamari is good but could be more crispy. The zucchini was juicy but had no flavor to it. The prawns was very good and crispy and tasty. We also had coleslaw as a side and was better than your average slaw. Staff is very friendly from parking attendant, person handing put menu, cashier and pickup station. Overall I would come back for more.
