I've had nothing but good service from this place. I've brought my girlfriends dog here twice, and it's been quick and a great service. I'll continue to bring the dog here.

Customers beware of Bark Avenue. Although in the past we have had decent experiences with Bark Avenue. BEWARE.they are hiring inexperienced groomers and as a result we recently had a nightmare experience. We brought our 2 year old dog in for grooming and immediately upon picking him up, we could tell something was wrong. Within an hour our eternally friendly, happy dog was in so much pain he could neither move nor sleep for several days. His entire groin and stomach area was so badly burned by the groomer’s razor that he had to be sedated at the vet so the area could be cleaned and treated. The vet told us they don’t even shave the dogs this short when they operate on them. We are not litigious or angry people so we contacted the owner, Veronica and she immediately acknowledged her groomer’a mistakes and assured us she would pay for the vet bills. After several promises around “just needing a bit more time to pay us back”, we are almost 2 months post the horrible experience and she has not reimbursed us for the vet bills and will not reply to our follow up communications. Shame on Bark Avenue and Veronica, the owner for not doing the right thing to make a bad situation better. We love to support local businesses in Ventura but WILL NEVER come back to Bark Avenue and will tell all of our pet owner friends to stay away.

One of the groomers has worked with my dog regularly. She is honest and knowledgeable as he has sensitive skin. He gives her kisses and super excited to see her. Highly recommend

We have taken our golden doodle puppy here twice now and I cannot say enough good things. We always heard about how high maintenance doodles were grooming wise (yes, you do have to brush them REGULARLY at home) and we were worried about finding the right place to take him Well, this is the place. The staff is extremely nice and he has come back PERFECT, handsome, and fluffy both times. They are extremely good at listening to preferences as far as what you want the cut to look like and making sure it’s just right. We won’t go anywhere else and highly recommend this place!

Absolutely will be bringing my boy back here. They did a phenomenal job! A happy boy he is!

Terrible business eithics.

I have 3 senior dogs and getting them groomed can be a lot of work and take a long time but Bark Avenue takes good care of them and gets them done very quickly. They always look super good and happy afterwards.

Very particular with how they cut my dogs hair and they did an amazing job! Definitely going back & recommend this pet groomer.

Veronica has done such an amazing job on all my cats, even when they attack her arm, or spray her she keeps her cool!

Just spoke to Misha, she told me I would have to wait 7 weeks to bring my dog in for a bath. If you are looking for a groomer that cares about customer service and knows how to work around both their busy schedule and your busy schedule, this is not the place to go.

They did an amazing job with my puppy. I gave him a bath at home and he proceeded to roll around in mud afterwards. They fixed the problem and have earned a repeat customer. Attached are before and after pics. They did amazing.

Everyone there is super sweet and can handle any dog that comes in.they are patient and they really care about all the animals who come in to get groomed.my dog always comes out perfect!

The only place I trust with my Lili. They do everything from bumper to bumper. She has that new dog smell.

I have took my fur baby about three times to this groomers. But will not be taking him back. The last time I picked him up he had a swollen eye for two days. When I took him to the vet they said they presume he was scratched in the eye.: (

Amazing groomers who are so good with difficult dogs. Love these guys. They treat all of the animals with such love and respect.

I have been doing business with Veronica for many years! She deserves 10 stars. I will be doing business with her for many years to come.
