Barks N’ Rec, Agoura Hills CA

Barks N' Rec is the best doggy daycare in Agoura Hills. Debbie and her team go truly above and beyond for each and every dog there. Our basset hound, Bailey has been going for over a year and he's learned how socialize with other dogs. It's great to pick him up and hear "funny thing Bay did today" stories. Thank Bark N' Rec for taking such wonderful care of our BayBay!

We left our dog, a 2 year old Boxer, at Parks & Rec this past weekend, (January 5-7,2024), and she's now at home with a horrible respiratory virus. She's had ZERO exposure to any other dogs over the previous month, so this is the only place she could have contracted it. We really enjoyed the staff, and think it's a wonderful operation, but will not be taking her back if she survives this.

Love this place, my dog always has a good time (I think), and the staff is super friendly. Pretty good prices too.

Nani and Skye LOVE going to Barks N’Rec! They get the princess treatment and are always racing to go inside when I’m dropping them off. The team is so personable, and give lots of personal attention to the doggos. We are so glad to have found Barks N’Rec!

I’m sorry I missed you this morning! I really wanted to thank you for everything! Knowing Mr Willie was safe in your hands made the trip so much easier! You went above and beyond! I was so worried about him, but you took great care of him!
Also I must tell you, your new groomer did an amazing bath job on Judah and Willie!
All in all I’m so thankful to you and all your doggie helpers! It’s good to know we have a home away from home for our boys!

Be wary of Barks N Rec. My grandmother entrusted them with her 5 pound dog while she was on vacation. The live cams prove they don’t separate small and large dogs despite saying otherwise, and there is no nighttime supervision. Two days after she dropped her dog off, she suspiciously passed away at Barks N Rec despite a perfect report from the vet a month before. Furthermore, when my grandmother went to pick up her dog’s things, they had misplaced her collar and tags and included items that didn’t even belong to her, showing a real lack of care during a difficult situation. My grandmother has reached out to the owner of Barks N Rec several times and received no reply.

Debbie was a pleasure to work with! Most importantly, all the staff here are 100% kind, caring, and compassionate with every pet and person that comes through their doors. 5 stars for their Above and Beyond-type of service.

Whether it's daycare or overnight care, Barks is the BEST! My pup squeals in delight whenever we arrive, the staff knows his name and I know he is cared for and having fun to boot!
