Barney's Beanery, West Hollywood CA

O. M. G. The chili cheese dog was ginormous! A true behemoth of a frankfurter. It was drowning in chilly and HEAPS of ooey gooey cheeeeeeese. Mouth-watering goodness, but Brent said it's still not as good as the Lomas Santa Fe Executive Golf Course glizzy.

Very delicious food and drinks. The atmosphere was hyped since multiple football games were playing. The service was okay, waiting around a bit, but to their defense, busy football games so they did their best. They are super friendly and inviting all together.

Didnt est this time but have done previously and food is good. Like a big semi- dive bar, relaxed and easy. Good for a session

It’s not easy to mess up chili cheese fries in L. A.but Barney’s found a way. Way too much cheese, heated by salamander, warm fries… and where’s this famous chili? Skimped it. Served with ranch dressing on the side… bleh. Gross and way overpriced for the portion size and lack of the key ingredient, the chili.

Service was really good considering it was a busy Saturday afternoon, kudos to them. The service saved what could have been a 2-star rating.

Barney’s is a great place to hangout in W. Hollywood. Shockingly very normal prices but you get great value in any of the food items you order. Plus you get to experience a piece of Hollywood history in Barney’s. A must visit place for any tourist looking for good food and drinks at a reasonable price

Not only did it smell disgusting, the security guard Albert, didn’t let me back in after smoking, and me and my whole party left, whack to say the least.

Great English Pub atmosphere. Quality food. HUGE drink variety. AMAZING chill service that compliments the ambiance.

I have never been to a place where the waitress brings you the check without acknowledging that your finished and tells you to vacate your table, oh and when they charge you for beer it won’t matter what the price is it’ll be $9 no matter what, even if it says $7 on the menu
no where to stand and they will remove you from a table if you don’t buy enough food from them
Avoid this place, the 30+ year old workers look like they wanna die and get annoyed when they have to do their job

I think barney's is suffering from the same thing as every other restaurant, it's hard to find help these days. The service was good and the food enjoyable but it is not the place Jerry described from 2019. C'est la vie

Forgot that the unchanged Chili from the 20's is when they had restricted acced to spices
Atmosphere is fun even though they play their main game weather or not it's a blow out
And I Hope our server was new, otherwise.

It's been a while, that I've been here. So many times I explained to my suspects and others, that the best chilli is at Barney's. I must say even now, while my episodes are just reruns these days, Barneys is still the best place to be.

All the food is definitely a recommendation especially the burritos and the chillies of course. And the variation of beers are amazing.
But the best thing is, that everyone comes together at Barney's. And even the youngsters are meeting up, playing games, get in contact and all that in real life, without the new thing they call smart phone. Barney's got pool tables, air hockey, pack-man and others.
It was great to watch that Barney's is offering so much opportunities, for playing, watching sports, dating, dining, drinking, breakfasting, etc.while beeing openminded and super friendly.

"And just one more thing: " This was not my last party, I might have some more things that I might be interested in. And therefore I probably be back some day.

Old time bar where Jim apparently came in for the odd drink and Jabis had her last meal. In a really cool spot in Hollywood with equally cool people. Staff were decent but do have the Hollywood 'tube which ain't for everyone. Tried a local actors beer. Damn fine. Simple old-school bar. Loved it.
