I received a bill stating I have not paid for June. I paid $282.00 on June 2,2023.
I hope you’re more careful about my payments in the future, this is highly poor service and inconvenience as well a waste of my time
We moved in so fast after the previous tenet moved out, they didn't have time to fully prepare the home. They fixed some things after we moved in, which was fine with us. We lived in the home happily for 3 years without any issues.
When we moved out, the deposit refund check BPM mailed was stolen from my new home's mailbox (not BPM's fault). After 6 months, the money was recovered from the bank thanks to BPM's persistence.
I rented from Barstow professional management company for over 3 years. I never paid rent late or submitted excessive requests for repairs or services as a tenant. By all accounts I was an exceptional tenant. When I informed them I was moving out I was treated with disrespect and unprofessionalism. Upon my most recent visit to their office, a Caucasian woman at the front desk was complaining to me that they had to send out pest control for a rat we saw running around, And then asked me if I had bed bugs and maybe thats why they were charged such a high price by the pest control. As a person of color, I was offended by her assumptions that I had bed bugs. This was the first time I have ever met her and have never had bed bugs in my residence in my life.
When I moved out the man who came to do my move out inspection kept saying I could leave because it would take him a long time to document everything, even though I stated I wanted to be present. After the inspection the same man called me and said he needed me to come back because he forgot to document some things. He was very unprofessional and did not conduct the move out inspection properly.
I had moved in with a $1800 deposit, 1300 rent equivalent and 500 for my dog. When I received my deposit refund it was for less than 300 dollars. This company wanted to charge me for everything they could find and even for items I had documented upon move in that were already damaged. They said my house would need to be deep cleaned and charged me $500 dollars for that alone. Hey They said to repair nail holes would cost them $300. When I called and spoke to the broker George Steese he grew upset very quickly and hung up on me when I suggested we could go to small claims courts to settle the discrepancy.
I can not recommend this property management company to future tenants or property owners, they do not conduct business honestly and treat tenants with disrespect and disdain. Save yourself the headache and money, steer clear.
