BART West Oakland Station reviews
3They spent millions of dollars putting in these doors to “prevent” fare hopping but it doesn’t actually help. Now the same people who never paid in the first place have just become more aggressive, pushing the paying person when their card is scanned to slip in. I’ve been shoved multiple times since the new installation. This is yet another reason to show that bart is not actually prioritizing their customers. The person “monitoring” the gates isn’t given the support to actually prevent fare hopping without potentially endangering the customers.
Great place to get on for any destination on bart. About 10-15 minutes away from downtown sf or powell street! This station has trains running quite often as well
Great bart stop very helpful staff and big Station midway with bathrooms. Bart is so great and doesn't deserve any of the hate. People are so spoiled. Only thing they can do is have a security guards on some of the carts. But post corona Bart needs support. Support our bay area bart.
