Bayview Inn, Crescent City CA

It's pretty pathetic that you would take an employee who was afraid of being fired for the way she spoke with me side over a paying customer that for three days got no room service. Almost $150 a night and no service. This seems to be an issue with management. There were several incidents that happened that were unprofessional and not called for with our stay here. These owners and employees are playing the victim role so their poor service doesn't come out. Congratulations do we need a round of applause? By the way who do I send my bill to for me having to go to the hospital due to contracting legionella from your jacuzzi tub?

Staff is kind and very helpful. Accessibility to the Bay/Ocean is easy, as well as to see the Redwoods. Rooms are clean and well stocked with fresh towels. Daily refresh of trash and towel removal is also great to have. Just got to remember to take the Do Not Disturb sign and put out the Maid sign, which is on the back. They also offer full service if requested before 11am to front desk to change bedding and do a wipe down and vacuum of the rooms. Overall, a great place to stay and decent prices too!

Can't speak on my stay here, but I can speak on not staying here. I had a change of plans and needed to cancel after 3pm the day of my check-in. They made it quick and easy with a phone call and no charge.

Cute little Inn with comfortable beds and clean rooms. The young lady at the check-in desk was nice. The only thing I'd change if I could, would be for the rooms to have an AC/heat unit. The room got pretty warm and stuffy in the middle of the night, but I was able to manage by kicking the covers off. I'd stay here again if I needed a place to stay passing through.

Not a 5star, but a decent, affordable place. Best thing is, it's on Elk Valley road. Go see the Redwoods a couple miles away!

This property was fantastic! Clean comfortable room with hot showers and tasty in room coffee. The front desk agent was super friendly and professional.

Prices are cheap, however our room was filthy with mold on the bathroom ceiling and a dirty bathroom door and blow dryer. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back.

The first room they put us in was disgusting. On the stairs up to the room we encountered used qtips and garbage all over. Then there was the filthy walls and doors. Once we finally made it into the room there were mystery stains on the sheets when we pulled them back and the sitting chair looked like someone has sat there and urinated multiple times. They moved us to another room in a different building. This room was slightly cleaner. Although the once white shower curtain was a nasty shade of brown. But at least they staff was friendly and understanding

Dated rooms but the rate can not be beat. Right on the shore, dinner next door gives discounts for staying. Great location.

You can see they are updating, but in the current condition it's a little rough. Garbage from the previous people was in the room, toilet seat broken, carpets were very dirty, and the foot traffic of homeless people was a lot.

This place is very deceiving from the pictures. It's not that nice and everything is pretty dated. Got a jacuzzi room and the bathroom and jacuzzi tub were both filthy, I had to clean our bathroom myself to make sure it was OK. Tv stand is broken so the tv faces upward. No security lock on the doors. Burns on all the blankets. Crakcheads doing obvious drug deals in the parking lot. Crackheads staring at you when you pull in. Air conditioner and heater are both broken. When brought to the attention I was handed a box fan lol thanks. No amenities whatsoever. But hey dont smoke on the property. Just an overall horrible stay I wish I would've went somewhere else. Never again. Only good thing about the place is the staff was nice. Would give 0 stars but you gotta put something.

Lovely place for the price, swift check in and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Would recommend staying here.

Made a reservation at this hotel to be next to Ocean World for the night. Room is decently sized but not super clean. There was sand/garbage on the bathroom floor, what looked to be mascara on one of the pillows and hair on the top comforter. There is a booger stuck to the wall by one of the beds and some more garbage on the floor. When inspecting for bed bugs, I saw some stains on the matress cover that were a little concerning but it ended up being okay. Good location, so you're paying for that, not a nice clean and updated room. We did get an ocean view so that was nice.

The place was dirty the jacuzzi had dirt and hair in it but the Gross thing was there was half eaten food in it the fridge. We had to get some lysol from Safeway to us in the room.because we could not find another place to stay in cresent city
