Drove an hour to get here so I could close my account. Paid over $200 in fraudulent overdraft charges to bring my balance to zero and close. Next day? $96 NEW FEES! They never closed my account. Customer service could not help me. Absolutely insane and illegal. Bank was also dirty with a long line and seedy individuals.

You're better off hiding money under your mattress.

Worst bank I have ever had they charge you interested after you have paid your balance in full and customer service has me bouncing around I tell them I want to speak to a supervisor or manager they are busy all the time I call and I leave them my # and tell me that they’ll call you in 2 days and never received a call and I call again and they tell me that they are busy unprofessional if you ask me so now I got no option but go to there branch in lynwood it’s just keep getting worst I go and tell them the situation there’s nothing they can do I don’t know what’s up but let me tell you Bank of America and citi bank and chase and discover are the banks I am sticking too these banks are professional highly recommended

The branch is always temporary closed due to system and power outages. Always call before you go to avoid a long drive, and hope they even answer the phone

Their "systems are down" almost always so while their hours say they are open, they are closed most of the time. I've been trying to close my account for months. I drive an hour away and have come here three times on Fridays and everytime I call to make sure their system is up and by the time I arrive, it's down again. It's been a nightmare. If you want to be done with this bank, write a check with your full balance left, deposit it at another bank and then call to close the account once you've zeroed it. I've wasted so much gas, so many Fridays, driving here to have it be closed time and time again. It feels like it should be illegal, how hard they make it to get access to your own money. The bank manager told us "the system can be back up in a couple hours or a couple days.who knows" lol can you believe people trust this place put their money in this bank. You might not see it again.

The Customer service is HORRIBLE. I have been trying to get service for a month and I am told the system is down. I was determined to settle my matter and I spoke with 4 different representatives over a time of 50 minutes with no resolve. The last representative that I spoke with stated he would call back when the system was up and I never received a call back. I decided to just go into a local bank and complete payment but it says it’s temporarily closed. Just trying to close out my loan and can’t get any help. This is not good at all.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN. Every single experience/interaction with BBVA has been frustrating. This bank is faceless and useless. Usually the agents try to help, but they have zero authority to fix customer service issues. DO NOT BANK AT BBVA.

I came by to open a bank account, Claudia Choto help me. She is amazing! Best costumer service ever! Love her! She explained everything and helped me with the process. Made everything easy for me.

Worst customer service ever. Their solution to alleviate long hold times on the phone is to hang up on you after holding for 30 min and make you call back. I've been trying to get in touch with a live body for 3 business days now and still no luck. Bank with ANYONE else. Not even Washington mutual was this bad. Not to mention the nearest branch is 20 miles away, so when I have to go into one I need to miss a half day of work.

This bank has the worst customer service ever. We have an online money market account which we are trying to cash out and close. We have sent 3 faxes, a secure email and a certified letter with no response. We have called the customer service 5 times, waited over 2 hours on hold in total and still gotten no further than the call center which is manned by people whose English is not understandable, and has passed us on to “supervisors” who in turn have done nothing. Caveat Emptor

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Can't even reset my access to my account due to their service not updated my account with the new card THEY sent me! Still unresolved, the only way to get out of this is to pay in full my balance. Worst IT service, can't even talk to a supervisor in a timely manner.they have lots to learn in customer service and support! Don't open an account with them!

Needed to withdraw $10,000 and was told they could only give me $5,000. They said it was small branch, and I needed to order it in advance. Next closest branch was 60 miles away!

Website did not say this. Otherwise I would have. $10,000 does not seem unreasonable for a BANK branch to have on site. Website should simply state "for withdrawals over $5,000 please place order in advance. " Pretty ridiculous.

Checking & Savings.ive never had a problem in bank or by phone
pretty cool staff, low rates and chargers.
ONLY THING IS,
its a tad far from my house so i sometimes dread
taking the 15 to 20 minute drive
(THANK GOD FOR ONLINE BANKING)

If you have not been reported to ChexSystems and you have options do yourself a huge favor and bank elsewhere. Came in to the Lynwood Branch for assistance and was informed by Assistant Manager Nicole that because I had opened my account online she would not be able to help me physically at the branch. Are you kidding me? Unreal. Horrible bank to bank with.
