Beach Burger reviews
11I tried several burgers on this trip to the US, but this one was the best for me. The quality of the meat was certainly superior compared to the many fast food restaurants I tried. Then the view from Santa Monica makes it all the more beautiful
Great corn dogs and chips also enjoyed a delicious icee. I love this restaurant and I recommend it to anyone.
Burger joint on Santa Monica pier. Got a double cheeseburger fries and coke for $21. Burger was surprisingly really good or I was just hungry fries were a bit soggy
The beach burger is good. Charbroiled, crispy edge, decent size, not too long a wait on a Monday afternoon.
We were visiting LA and decided to take in the historic Santa Monica Pier. Our dining choices were limited, so we chose Beach Burger because the order line was moving quicker than the others. That was the set up. Two order lines but only one pickup line or should I say pickup "mob". Everyone just stood around an open window 8 ft from the registers. So imagine my dismay when I got my service number, 810 and realized that they were only serving #760! There are only about 5 metal picnic tables for dining and on this Sunday afternoon, they were all full with people standing in between. They called out ready orders over a loudspeaker and it amazed me many times they could screw up a 3 digit number. People would walk up thinking that they had heard their numbers and end up standing there within hugging distance of everyone else that came to pick up their order. This could easily be ground zero for the next pandemic. Gloriously 45 mins later my number is called and we managed to find a table that we shared with another family. This was literally the worst Burger ever! The Burger patty was paper thin and the edges were burned. The one saving grace were the fries and they were mediocre at best. So after wasting over an hour and dropping $51, we rushed back to our hotel and hit the nearest food truck! I don't normally write reviews but someone had to say something.
We did not order burgers, but got a kids hot dog meal here - Fries were great but hot dog to bun ratio was off, way more bun than dog. Also comes with small fountain drink
I went with the LA dog which is a hotdog wrapped in bacon with a generous portion of sauteed onions and peppers and a garlic fries.
I love garlic and always put 10x the amount required in all recipes so was blown away when they put more garlic on than I would! They were super tasty but super oily and was dripping through the bottom of the tray (and leaked/left marks on my shorts).
A decent size line but moved fairly quickly. Food was better than expected from carnival like food vendors.
Over priced food. But I guess that's what to be expected buying in an area like this. But the food itself wasn't even that great.
I don’t recommend this place the burger tasted funny and it was over salted worst burger I’ve ever had!
The worst hamburger I’ve ever had. It was both over-salted and bland, a combination I didn’t think possible. I’ve never met the cook but he must think I slept with his wife. Food this bad had to have been made on purpose.
Great corn dog! We took our first one in Illinois at the start of our Route 66 journey, and the last here on Santa Monica pier.
