Beach Eye Medical Group

My Hoag Hospital GP referred me to Beach Eye Medical Group. The staff at Beach Eye Medical group were very helpful in setting up an appointment. Dr. Samir A. Shah, MD, MS, FACS was VERY knowledgeable and professional. He addressed my concerns and questions and DOUBLE CHECKED my eyes to make sure he had given me all the correct information. Because of my positive experience, I have just referred my wife to him (who may have shingles in her left eye). After recently having had a terrible experience with another ophthalmologist - who said I needed cataract surgery (and didn't) and tried to up-sell me with other items, it was refreshing to get some straight answers to my eye needs and questions. As always, Beach Eye Medical was exceptional in providing my eye care. I recently had a stoke that affected my peripheral vision. My neurologic ophthalmologist directed me to have my vision prescription undated and have new glasses before my upcoming appointment. Khalil did a thorough exam and prescribed glasses with prism technology to assist in compensating for my vision loss.
My experience was definitely a 5 star rating.

Had appointment at 3: 30 but still had to wait appx an hour again. Other than that, the plastic surgery was good, knowledgeable and professional.

Dr. McCluskey is the best Opthomologist ever. I am sad that she is leaving, but happy for her in her retirement. This is such a great office and I am confident I will get the same great care with the new doctor.

Dr. Liu was very thorough and helpful at my mother’s consultation. All the staffs there are very sweet there too.
