Beach House Hotel, Half Moon Bay CA

We've stayed with you many many times. Heather at the front desk was lovely as usual. I would suggest repairing the shower tile in room 317 and also adding a few bottles of water to the fridge, like you used to do. Those little touches go a long way!

1. Handicapped parking not available. Cleaning truck was in one spot. Then another vehicle was there without a handicapped sticker. My husband is handicapped and uses a walker, and we have a handicapped license plate. These spots need to be better monitored.
2. We asked for an ocean view handicapped room. Since there was none available, Beach House put a chair in the shower and plastic handicapped bars which were totally unsafe and should not be used.
3. Breakfast was very good! Room was clean! We had one night and everything was fine. Met our expectations! We have stayed with you before. You had donated a one night weekday stay to the California Association of Student Councils, and we won it at auction. Thank you!
4. Hairdryer did not work for us.
5. Front desk people were terrific, pleasant and helpful! All staff was wonderful!

Beautiful hotel, room 102 is comfortable, private and quiet. Room 102 is a corner unit with lots of natural light with a pleasant outdoor seating area. Hotel staff is great. Convenient to many restaurants. Continental breakfast is very good.

I and my husband and the kids love the area. Hotel amenities was amazing. We love there's Complimentary Continental Breakfast and especially the Complimentary Wine (Happy Hour). Also just few steps on to our fave restaurant Sam's Chowder and of course the Beach. Very easy access and friendly staff. We will for sure come back and stay at this hotel.

Well maintained, nice staff, view as advertised. Continental breakfast was fresh and complete. Surprised by the traffic noise. Next time I'll stay in the full ocean view room. The Chowder House next door is excellent.

Everything was made easy, just like a vacation should be. The breakfast was better then I would expect at the best 5 star hotels anywhere. Service was friendly and accommodating.

We didn't use the pool last year which was a mistake. My husband didn't want to go because he thought it would be cold. I had to drag him this year. The water was perfect. We really enjoyed it. There were lots of breakfast options. It's so cool that I can get a bagel and take it up to the room where there is a toaster! The room has everything. We really love it there.

This is my second time staying at the Beach House. For the quick stay away from home is so relaxing. I plan to come hear at least once a year for my birthday or anniversary.

The hotel is so clean and house warming. I recommend everyone to come stay with you. The beach side is breathtaking and the restaurants are walking distance. We can't beat that!

Perfect hotel right near the beach and some great restaurants. Hotel staff was very kind. Hotel offers a great continental breakfast with fresh pastries, fruits, yogurts, oatmeal and coffee. Pool is heated, hot tub steps away from your room. You don't want to miss out on this gem.

Nice hotel. Was upgraded to 3rd floor suite overlooking the ocean.
Has little issue with the bag of wood? For a fire.was hard to get going

Our stay was everything my wife and I hoped for. Great room, view and service. We are looking forward to coming back again!

Very nice place for meetings and a wonderful patio with a magnificent view of the ocean that’s great for entertainment.

I cannot thank the office staff enough for what they have done to make our wedding so memorable. It all started when we were looking for a hotel at the beginning of the year, but most of Half Moon Bay shut down due to loss of electricity during the storms. An incredible staff member, Nikki, helped us find another hotel while we were doing some wedding preparation. When we returned in early spring to finalize our wedding, we met Nikki again and we were able to book a hotel room. When we finally checked-in, we were greeted with chocolates and wine. Another staff member was willing to write "just married" on the back of our car window. We are so very grateful for the experience they have provided and views are spectacular. Thank you again for making our wedding one that we will never forget and we hope to visit again soon!

Bestest choice of pastries was excellent.
The first floor patio was lacking privacy.
We always found parking.
House cleaning was through.

For the type of room offered, i felt the price was steep.

We came across this adorable hotel on our way through California to Oregon. We didn’t have reservations but the staff was super accommodating. The ladies upfront were so nice and welcoming and gave us a wonderful room. The room was spacious and welcoming. The bed was super comfy and so was the couch (our daughter slept on the pull out). The room had a beautiful view of the harbor and a fire place we lit at night. The pool was the perfect temperature to go swimming even though it was a little cold and over cast. Then we switched over to the hot tub that has a wonderful view of the beach line. Their continental breakfast was delicious with an assortment of pastries, oatmeal’s and fruits. Definitely a hidden gem that we will be returning to!

Best place to stay at Half Moon Bay. Location and rooms are awesome and breakfast is incredible.
