Bear Paw Quilts & More, Oakhurst CA

This was a great little stop on our way to Yosemite. We were a little disappointed there weren't any fabrics that were Yosemite-specific, but there was plenty to look at. There were a handful of quilt kits. I was hoping for a small project I could work on in the car (like a cross stitch kit or something). I ended up buying a seam ripper that was made by a local artist - it's nice to support local businesses!

Had some wool pants mended by a lady who frequents the store and does alterations. Great store.

In need of synthetic oil for my jukebox. Sewing machine oil works very well

Love this place. Variety is getting better but customer service is the best in the foothills. Great place to see finished quilts. They have a long arm. Nice selection.

The staff is very helpful and the fabric is beautiful. So glad to have our own little fabric store in town.

I came in to get a bunch of fabric for some fall themed decor I am working on. I do not live in the area and when I got home I discovered there were some pieces missing to a kit I had bought. I reached out on Facebook Messenger to the shop and they responded a few hours later. I let them know what pieces I was missing and they apologized and said they would send me the missing pieces. They ended up sending a whole new kit instead and even paid for expedited shipping! I am beyond happy with their quick response to make it right and can't wait to get started on my kit! Thank you ladies! I will be back next year when I am in the area!
