Even tho my dogs first time to a vet he acted foolish we were never treated any different the staff showed us much love even tho my dog was not acting the best. I was very very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the Doctor who treated my dog Blue's eye, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BEAR VALLEY ANIMAL HOSPITAL

All honesty this place is a bit pricey. But, they have the most nicest staff. The Veterinarian and Assistant are so respectful and kind. The staff answering the phones are professional and courteous. Also, the place is clean and doesn't smell like urine.

Awesome and Sweets leg is much better feeling so much better I don't know his biological birthday but we gave him his first birthday last year is October 23rd thank you for helping my little friend my Furry Vengeance

I know at times there can be a wait, but it's because they are the best. Such a caring group.

The vet was great. I took my smaller dog. She was great with him. I explained my bigger dog which is an English mastiff is skittish and does not like people. The vet offered to do his shots in the parking lot if necessary. I was told when I made the appt I would be brought in through a side door. The office staff refused when I got there. They wanted me to walk a scared English mastiff through 3 aggressive larger dogs. I was firm that we needed not to go thru the other 3 large snarling and barking dogs. They refused to honor their word. I hope the veterinarian reads this post! Thank you

Use to be a very nice professional place to take my pet, ignoring clients at the front desk (for 45 minutes), asking SEVERAL times for dog records to process claim that i was told would be submitted over a month ago, actually came in to give information and STILL nothing was done.yet they had no problem getting paid almost 400$ on day of service, gave them MY correct name number etc several times yet records reflect wrong information making it harder to process the claim.looks like nobody at the front desk CARES to be bothered!

Terrible place to take your animal. Everyday you go in to have something done, it will be a different price. My dog had surgery on his ear after a fight they charged me over 1200 for what turned out to just be a clean out. Absolutely no cuts so there were no stitches involved. They were rude and on too of that, they also charged $10 more at pick up of my pet. Outrageous.

I am very disappointed, I called this morning to get an appointment for my bloodhound. The gentleman told me we had a 9: 40 appointment open. I said great. We got there signed in, waited to be called. To fill out paperwork because 1st visit to this vet. I Brought all dogs previously records. About 15 mins was given paparwork to Fill out, they told me I could wait it car as dog has a hurt back leg. We waited, and waited. Then at 10: 20 I went in to ask how much longer. Was advised 3 ahead of me. Ok, a little frustrated because appointment was at 9: 40, but we waited, and waited, and waited. At 11: 40 (2 hours later) I went in to ask, this time the nice girl, advised me I was a walk-in and we get treated after normal appointments. I'm like we called for an appointment, was given today @ 9: 40. Didn't know this was considered walk-in. She said spoke to supervisor, and we would be next, 2 other people went before us. Totally frustrated, 12: 00 still not in room for Dr. So. We left. I will not be back

Folks are nice enough but don’t plan on doing anything else the day you bring your pet here. Our Golden Retriever needed one ear cleaned and a shot for allergies. Still waiting in the lobby and it’s almost been 4 hours and we had an appointment. Maybe it’s because Dr. Velasco is on vacation?

Got here at 10: 20 for my appointment it’s currently 12: 50 and haven’t seen the veterinarian keep getting told they will look into it but help other customers instead it’s getting irrating

The only place that I had availability for neuter or spay. The prices are reasonable also.

Dr Jamie Velasco had to do surgery on my German Shepard as he seemed to have something stuck in his intestine, told to me by other doctors and X-Rays. When it was time to pick my German Shepard up he told me cold hardly that my dog had days to live and for us to put him down. He was unsympathetic when speaking to me and had no care to try to help me help my dog. He asked me if I wanted to do it now and I told him no to give me my dog. I came home with him heartbroken and having to make the hardest choice I had had to make in a very long time. A few days later he was feeling better and started to get his energy back. It has been a month today (surgery was 6/9/23) and he is better than ever! They were going to refund me a few hundred dollars because they did not do the internal procedure and when I called to ask about it someone said “It seems we never processed it. ”
They only care about making money and getting people in and out. No sympathy or sign that they care for the animals and/or their owners! They put us through emotional trauma as our dogs are our babies that mean the world to us!
The only person who helped me the whole time was Dr. Zuniga, he was amazing.

DO NOT recommend.

So far, so good. New pet new vet new town for me. There was one error made giving my puppy a shot, but it is what it is.

I wish i could give this place zero stars! I had a appointment with Dr Anderson and she was the worst.my dog was really sick, literally on the verge of dying (she tested negative for parvo) and i was told by Dr Anderson that if i didn’t get more tests done which was over $2000 in JUST tests not including any medicine or any guarantee that the tests would show what was wrong with my dog; She told me to put down my dog if i couldn’t afford it and i sat there and cried for the rest of the appointment. This place is money hungry and i do not recommend any pet owners to this place. Dr Anderson, do better. By the way, all my dog needed was electrolytes. She is now striving living her best life. 2: 40 appointment for a possible ear infection. Didn't get in until 4 pm. Over 80 minutes later with no updates, have asked myself twice and keep getting the run around on why its taking so long. Not the kind of service that gets repeat business.
