Bearded Tang Brewery reviews
13Beer is quality. Staff is nice. In my opinion, one of the top breweries in Southern California.
Good beer. Staff could definitely use a drink, but it's definitely been one of those days for me, that's why I showed up.
First time here and we had 3 different beers and all were Excellent. Mexican Lager, Cologn Shark, and Ella's Down Unda
We stopped by to wait for our food! Staff was super friendly and they had plenty of drinks to pick from, so we tried the sluslushiesis time. Yummers! Cheers to good drinks! I'll be back for more.
Great beer. Tried the dry Irish stout on nitro, hazy IPA and German Kolsh. They were all true to style and delicious. Nice location and a lot of choices for some great food with both indoor and outdoor options.
Great beer! Great service and great draft options. Location is in a food court with great dining options
Solid beers inside a good space. Wide variety of options and a nice big bar. Rodeo itself can get pretty busy though!
Delicious and locally brewed beers! Great place to hang out and have a few drinks with friends/coworkers.
Pretty surprised by the low quality of the food and beer here — relatively indifferent, bordering on hostile service as well. The general vibe of the establishments around Bearded Tang is good but I wouldn’t go to this location/food court seeking this particular place out
Went here on a Saturday afternoon. Located inside Rodeo 39 Public Market, it is the biggest space used in the market. It wasn't too busy.
The menu options were surprisingly big and with variety for a brewery located in a public market. I ended up trying their Bro Pils (Czech-style Pilsner), Ausflippen (German-style Pilsner) and Tank'd (West Coast IPA). Bro Pils was crisp, dry and hoppy. Ausflippen was malty, light bitterness and easy to enjoy. Tank'd had the classic caramel malt profile with heavy dank flavors from the hops.
Overall, the beers were very delicious and true to style. The beertenders were very nice and helpful. The area is ample and spacious. You can either sit at the bar or at the tables behind them. You can also walk around the market and peruse while sipping. Highly recommend.
Didn't accept my foreign ID, drivers license or a copy of my passport. Not everyone likes to carry around a bulky passport. It's hilarious that 3 identical official documents + credit cards get rejected. Not to mention that I'm a lot older than 21.
Fairly decent selection of a wide range of brews, but trends towards the lighter side of things, with only one stout on a menu of 18, but 5 IPAs/variants, a hard seltzer, a slushy, a couple pilsners, a kolsch, and a couple lagers, and a Belgian wit. A lil something for everyone.
Finally nice to get out and enjoy a beer, food, and some social time. I’ve been wanting to visit Rodeo 39 and was really impressed at the site.
You do have to order food before placing alcohol. You must show your receipt before you order.
Hubby ordered American IPA and a Fruit Beer Berry’d. Have to give 2 thumbs up to the fruit beer! I was refreshing and tasty.
Can’t wait I to come back when this place is fully open. For now there are some tables inside and an outdoor tent.
Go get out and visit this place. It won’t disappoint!
