Beattie Park reviews
12Amazing environment for families, children, gatherings, functions, events, birthday parties and the list can go on. Love the concrete walking path around the park as well as the gazebo at the top of the hill providing an amazing view of Lompoc. Also has a disc golf course that is amazing
Great for the kids, amazing playground. Fun disc golf course. Bathrooms are horrible. Always cool and breezy.
Really cool park with basketball courts. A huge playground. Many open fields and a disc golf course. There are trails all around and squirrels a plenty. Don't feed the squirrels haha
Great padded play area for all ages. Tables in shade for us parents. Basketball court & field area to play soccer. Has sidewalks all around park to get your steps with benches and tables away from main area. Bathrooms and a rentable covered table area with BBQ pits for parties. There is an exercise trail zig zagging up the side of the hill with stations to do exercises. Benches on the trail with lots of trees and squirrels. At the top of the hill is a covered wooden gazebo that has a wonderful view over the city of Lompoc.
Easily and by far the best park in Lompoc for families with children. In fact I'd probably go as far as to say it's the best parking Lompoc.
Recently renovated and perfect for toddlers to bigger kids. There's even an outdoor gym for parents!
All the original amenities are also there, like disc golf, soccer fields and BBQ pits with picnic tables.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.lots of things for everyone and so beautiful to be set against the hills. I would want to see more bike paths and resurfaced basketball courts for skating though.
My daughter loves this park the "lala grande park" lol. It has more potential though
Fun for kids nightmare for parents due to equipment setup and the merry go round and large plastic swing are dangerous
The trail here is very peaceful and quiet. It’s a great place to go for a stress reducing walk. They also built a new playground which my children love. The Ranger is on staff and is very friendly and helps keep the park tidy and safe for everyone.
It is amazing that we live in area that has so much beauty. The hike to the gazebo is steep, but a great workout. Along with the trails around the park as well. There is frisbee golf, basketball courts, picnic tables, a memorial, and vast areas of free space to run around. It is a great park to get out and get fresh air, take the kids to run around too (or roll down the hill like I used to as a kid), take your animals for a walk, or even just to relax. They playground is wonderful for all ages! The bigger playground has some bigger climbs and gaps, so just be cautious if you have a younger one.
