He’s made me feel confident again reading sheet music and learning the proper tune and I’ve never had a dull class with him. I've been taking guitar lessons with Beau for about 2 years now and my experience has been excellent and quite enjoyable. He is incredibly flexible in what he is able to teach. When I began lessons with Beau I wasn't really sure were I wanted to go with my learning but I was quickly able to explore all aspects of learning guitar with such a knowledgable teacher. I was able to begin learning the basics of music theory while also learning songs from my favorite rock bands. Through my exploration of music theory I was able to learn the CAGED system which made theory so much simpler and leveled up my play. If I wanted to explore a new genre, I was able to and was taught very well. Beau is an amazing guitar teacher with an incredibly refreshing teaching style. I was pretty new to guitar when I started with him, and instead of just focusing on repertoire and memorization, he taught me fine technique that greatly enhanced my playing and helped me learn the fretboard.

Beau also tailors his lessons to each student based on their own needs and interests. I started with pop music, moved to jazz, and even worked on music composition with him. He is an incredible teacher no matter the subject and has great conversations about music theory!

And he does all of this in a very fun and motivational way. He explains concepts patiently and clearly, giving kind, constructive criticism. Learning and practicing are definitely more fun because of him!

Beau is one of the best, funniest, and most patient teachers I have ever had. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a music instructor! (It certainly helps that he has the cutest cat ever).
