Went in on Labor Day because my usual Beauty Supply was Closed. I'm a African American Woman. I was immediately Greeted in a Aggressive way by the Short Armenian Lady with thin over Proccesed Bleached hair said to me in an Aggressive way What do you need? " I told her braiding hair and asked if she carried Xpressions Hair she said "No this is what I have you want it or No" When I went to the Register and proceeded to pay I pulled out my Debit card to pay, by this time she was speaking her Language to her coworker another Lady with thin Over Processed Bleached hair while looking at me. THEY LIED 2 ME SAYING THEY ONLY HAVE ZELLE OR CASH they said the Card Machine was not Working LIARS THE Armenian LADY BEFORE ME PAID WITH A CARD. I had to leave the store and go get $5 Cash for 1 bag of Hair. Oh and the short Armenian Lady never let me touch the $5 bag of hair she followed me and carried the Hair to the Register as if I was a Thief. The Funny thing is I'm in the Beauty Industry I could have purchased the whole store and the Lot it sits on. The Store Owners or workers are very Racist they should know better since they were treated so Horrible years ago Shame on you all for treating African Americans this way.

I went here with a friend who does not understand English and Armenian, apparently the employees thought that I did not understand either, so they decided to gossip and mock us in Armenian, fortunately I understand these languages, of course we did not make a purchase, very poor quality service. Left a very bad aftertaste.

I came and my friend has bad English, they know it - I wanted to buy hair extensions with her. Her and myself! They began to discuss us in Armenian (my friend knows Armenian), not very nice! Change staff!

The best store to buy professional hair color, shampoo, tools and so on. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. As licensed hairstylist in LA their prices are very reasonable and variety of best color options.

Staff is very helpful and friendly and their prices are great. They have one of the most extensive selection of hair extensions I've ever seen!

The selection here is pretty good but I would avoid if you are Black or African American like myself.
I have been racially profiled and followed around the store CLOSELY from aisle to aisle each time I’ve went into this store. There was another lady shopping (she was not black or AA) in the store while I was there today and they did not follow her around while she shopped at all, so clearly I was singled out. Today was the last straw for me and I’m not coming back. I’ve spent a lot of money here so it’s a shame to not receive something as little as respect.
Like every other time I visit this store, I gave them absolutely no reason at all to follow me or single me out so I know I was being profiled. If you’ve experienced racial profiling before I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about. A man started following me immediately when I walked in (didn’t say anything to me just started following me around and appeared in every aisle I went to). I wasn’t even sure if he worked there or not until he started speaking to the lady at the register.
They are polite upfront at times (not today) but never seem to even try to hide the fact that they are following me around. Today was definitely the worst. My husband has also experienced the same behavior when I have sent him to this store to pick up products for me.
It’s an extremely RUDE and UNCOMFORTABLE experience and I hope they stop doing this and have a bit more respect for ALL of their customers.

Love this shop. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable. Every time I come in here, I feel so welcomed and always leave with a smile on my face. In this crazy time where small businesses are losing ground, it's important to me to support the shops in my neighborhood and not give my money to Jeff Bezos. Keep small business alive, shop local.

If I could I would have gave this place 0 stars. Literally the worst place I have ever been to. I got tape in extensions and IMAGINE THEY FALL OF FROM THE FIRST TIME I took a shower. I paid 300 dollars for those extensions.
