This place does save lives. This place rekindles broken spirits. This place gives you tough love yet transcends our obscured vision to limitless rewards. This place rerouted my Mental GPS I am sometimes lost in. This place took me out of the worst neighborhood to be trapped in. My own mind. This place taught me what it’s like to see what’s caging me internally. BTS gave me the equipment I need to tear down my mental wall. The program implemented my innovation, while warranting my mental emancipation. I finally made a return to a safe haven, my mind was locking me out of. No matter how we often forget this, I learned something here. We are more than just a bag of chemicals. Alone we are timid. Together, we are incredible. The is a beautiful place. We need to remember that. If you’re bored, you are boring. I was lucky to be in the midst of this beautiful struggle. We all matter. Love yourself and finally allow a no BS approach to finding serenity and inner peace. Thank you Harriet, and everyone who has contributed to this beautiful entity. Special thank you to Jeremy Pool. He is a brilliant young man who has an ocean of strength and wisdom. B’eit T’Shuvah shaped me and proved that we don’t have to think outside a box. We just have to expand it. I am forever grateful.

You only need to be honest, open and willing to accept a new life that's waiting to be claimed. If you're ready, if your tired of running, lying and hiding, then you're ready to leave the world to itself where it will be when you return to it strong, durable and sober. Only then can you claim your dignity and love your identity. Beit tshuvah gives the 3 essentials to begin recovery, love, acceptance and a safe place to begin the journey. There is only one factor that remains constant among the many variables to the equation sobriety and a peaceful life.time. All the hard work doesn't accelerate the process. Abandon yourself and come ready. The healing body, mind and spirit need extended freedom from chemicals and beit tshuvah gives it's clients just that, extended stay to thoroughly complete the program to move forward naturally and easily and free. Leave it all behind and start over. 6 months to more than a year is worth a lifetime. Thank you beit tshuvah!

Dont send your family member any money or debit card without them having to sign for. They use recovering attics to run the mail room. Our family member did not receive one of the many cards we sent. BEWARE!

The founders are phenomenal individuals and they did create, grow and operate the best place in the country for many years. It's an absolute shame that this organization did not grow wisely and was unable to tolerate change, transition, new ideas and current scientific research. Unfortunately the end result is the current state which echoes those extremely shady organizations that are not in the industry for the right reasons. Arrogance borne from resting on the laurels of the past allows for some very poor case management decisions and thus treatment outcomes, which sadly can cause great, unnecessary harm to individuals who are not well and are bravely seeking help. The staff, old and new, essentially have no modern understanding of model for treating addiction and mental health. Instead a very primitive, punitive, antiquated philosophical approach is perpetuated with an air of arrogance and steeped in a culture of aloofness, ignorance, and abusive, machismo, "know-it-all's". Some of the drawbacks are symptomatic of the wider industry in general as well. Unfortunately in their quest to be recognized and legitimized in certain spheres, they lost some of the heart, soul, magic and transcendence that created the space for the unwell to heal.

I learned how to live my life at Beit T’Shuvah. This is always going to be home to be no matter what. This community taught me that I matter and that I can do anything I put my mind to. I was so blessed to go through BTS because the donations that help people like me who could not afford treatment to get the help I needed. Rabbi Mark Borovitz and Harriet have been my rock. I transformed my life from living homeless on the streets to being a hairstylist and to carry what they taught me on to other people to share the love and hope I received there. I now try to give back when I can so that I too can pay it forward to someone who needs the help like I did. Thank you for my life.

This place actually works, if you’re ready to change your life. The community is wonderful and so are the staff working there. I highly recommend it changed my life.
