Bella Cuba Restaurant reviews
17Happy hour with co-workers. The black bean soup with a side of rice was flavourful as always. Plantains and yucca were also good. Cuban food is not as spicy as Mexican but that wasn't what I went for. Service and prices are great. Sangria is just ok.
The absolute best Cuban food around. Their portion sizes are large for thr plate. Comes with rice, beans and plantains. Living in NorCal, I've traveled to SoCal just to dine here before, literally. Their roasted chicken w Mojo sauce is fingerlickin delicious. Must stop for me when in SoCal.
Food similar simply to ElTorrito was very warm for (some people), and they did not seem to care about that. The warmth of the food made the food less palatable. The chicken was dry. It’s definitely take out food. The plantain was fine. I do not know if I would recommend this food.
For authentic Cuban cuisine, Bella Cuba is the place. It's as close as I can get without my mother-in-law cooking it. Jose our waiter was outstanding.
Cuban sandwich and roast pork was incredible I’m from Tampa and love Cuban food and I am sad I don’t live nearby this place. Huge portions and free bread at beginning.
DID ANYONE SEE IT?
We got in a car accident May31st at 1015am, RIGHT in front the restaurant, on sunflower st making a U-turn to enter this shopping center and this restaurant was right next to us when we pulled in after the accident. The guy ran a red light, then after we pulled over, ran over my foot and fled the scene without giving his info. Did anyone see the crash? Or anyone witness us in front. The people at the restaurant were nice and gave me water for our Dog and this was on memorial day weekend
Came here while on my trip to California. A very big disappointment. Those who have never had real Cuban food won't tell the difference but we sure did. We ask the waitress if the cooks we're Cuban and she admitted they weren't we def could tell. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Cuban food. To bad.
There's so many good things to say from the menu to the servers. Food is just delish! A must if you're a foodie or hungry and you want your money's worth.
I used to go there more often before the pandemic. It seems like they have changed personal. I recently visited and the service was ok and the food too salty. I know everyone goes through shortages and different business model but restaurants depends on service and their cooking so I think is time to reassess and check what is missing.
Tried this restaurant for the first time and very happy with Sautéed Oxtail (aka Rebo Encendido). So very delicious beef stew with steam rice, plantains and black bean soup. Atmosphere was pleasant and customer service, very attentive and kind.
I had been wanting to try this place for awhile. Finally tried it as a lunch date. I really loved it, the home made sagria was delicious. The cuban flan was surprising not overly sweet. It hit the spot after our meal.
Already reported the restaurant to department of Justice. The manager rejected ESA dog and his attitude was very rude. He was saying that “emotional support is not service dog, she is too friendly and not trained” with a very terrible attitude. If you are a dog person, please avoid this restaurant at all cost.
Absolutely delicious Cuban food. Got the oxtail and it was fall off the bone, melt in your mouth delicious. Very authentic.
Also insanely attentive service. We were seated instantly in our preferred table, checked in on regularly, and felt personally welcomed. Shout out to Nick.
6/5 stars — do recommend.
My wife and I usually have to drive to L. A.to get quality Cuban food, but we found a jewelry nearby.
The service is prompt, courteous and efficient. We come here for their beef tongue in a light tomato sauce accompanied by white rice and black beans. We add tostones and we proceed to enjoy. The food is delicious, however, on the minus side the slices if beef tongue are too thin and the black beans tend to be more of a sauce without beans.
My absolute favorite Cuban restaurant of all time! All the waiters and hosts are very friendly and extremely accommodating! Nothing but praise for this restaurant. Best food ever!
Service was excellent. Having never eaten Cuban food before, the waitress was very helpful. Explaining the items.
Empanadas were awesome!
