Isaac is an amazing property manager. He is on top of every aspect of the community. He is invested in updating the community. And he is moving the community to new technologies.
The neighbors are friendly and access to everything that you could possibly need and enjoy is wonderful.

Cody kirk, was really helpful when I was struggling looking for a unit. He’s professional also have’s a great customer service.

Bella Del Mar has been such a great experience so far. I moved in a few months ago, and have had 5 star service from both Cody and Isaac. I highly recommend Bella if you are looking for something west of the 5 near the beach but still upgraded with a/c etc!

I came in with my husband to check out Bella and we absolutely love it. We aren’t looking to move until sometime next year but we are pretty certain this will be our new home! Cody was extremely patient and was able to answer all of our questions!

I toured Bella Del Mar earlier today and I loved it! Great location and a beautiful property, Cody was especially helpful despite them not having something available in my time frame I was given many different suggestions on where else I may have luck. Great service, I will definitely consider here in the future!

I toured this community and was impressed beyond belief! The leasing office team is as good as it gets and the homes are is modern yet homey. Very quiet, clean and well maintained! 10/10 would recommend.

We are moving across the country to Bella Del Mar and have been so impressed by how easy the application and move-in process have been. Isaac Sterman and Cody Kirk have been incredibly helpful with the leasing process, going out of their way to take photos and coordinate with our movers. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Isaac and Cody were great to work with! We didn't end up leasing an apartment from Bella Del Mar due to timing and availability issues, but we were impressed with our interactions with the leasing team every step of the way through the application process. The tour we got from Isaac was great and all follow up communications were informative and proactive.

The leasing office is amazing! Isaac is beyond helpful and made sure when we were trying to find a place to be as accommodating as possible. If you are looking for a place to rent this is THE ONE!

I just moved in June 23 to Bella apartment homes and I’m loving it! The apartment manager Isaac was professional and courteous answering all my questions and made my move very smooth. Cody the leasing manager was top notch as well. The complex is absolutely beautiful and a two minute drive to the beach, A+ 100%!

We moved here recently and I know I absolutely made the best decision! Starting with the neighborhood and the location… it’s quintessential San Diego beach lifestyle. You’re just down the street from the beach, but still close to major shopping centers just a few miles away. The property is beautiful and you feel like you’re at a resort every time you arrive home. Everyone I’ve met here has been really friendly and welcoming, which is great since I’m new to the area. The amenities are great and the staff has been really great to work with. If you’re looking for your next home, I highly suggest you put this community at the top of your list.

Super helpful staff. I did not rent from this place because they didn’t have anything available in my timeframe but they were always timely in responding. I contacted at least 10 places in San Diego and this place was the most attentive.

I've lived here for a week now and I am loving it! Every neighbor I have met has been incredibly friendly. The apartment is comfortable and my dog is very happy here. There are quite a few other dogs and everyone has been welcoming. I can't thank Isaac enough for helping me find the perfect location! The surrounding area is great! The grocery store is right next door and the beach is a quick drive. Easy to get on and off the freeway too. Very happy!

Bella Del Mar is very well maintained and provides excellent customer service whenever repairs or answers are needed. The community is great and we loved being surrounded by greenery and flowers.

Dog friendly, polite/friendly staff, friendly neighbors. Now the bad. Can't run ANY water while showering or the shower temp will spike and scold you. This applies to flushing the toilet, running the bathroom faucet, or even the kitchen faucet. Not to mention the water pipes creak and knock loudly within the walls. And for some reason, smoking is still permitted within the units so your neighbors bad habit wafts into your home. Not worth the high rent.

I lived at Bella Del Mar for 6 months with my two dogs. I had a one year lease, but moved for a new job halfway through. Their rates are a bit higher than others, but I think they are fair for what you get. My apartment was nice, the neighbors were great, I always felt safe, and everything is well maintained. They offer a really simple lease break clause in their contract (no wondering how much more rent you’ll have to pay before someone else rents the place). And move out was really well organized and easy. I take good care of the places I live and clean them well when moving out, but most places still take part of my security deposit. Bella Del Mar paid me my entire security deposit and some rent that I accidentally overpaid. How a company treats a tenant after they move out is a huge indicator of their integrity, and I have nothing but great things to say about Bella Del Mar. Hopefully one day I’ll move back.

Pros:
Beautiful property
Dog friendly (for those who love dogs as I do)
Friendly staff (Derek in particular is amazing-maintenance guy)
Pleasant tenants

Cons:
Rental Rates: HIGH
Lease Increase: HIGH
Cheap lanolin floors (you can see & feel where it buckles) &. Popcorn ceilings (ugh).
Termite infestation: There's termite damage on my balcony & around the trim outside of my door. (I was informed by a couple of tenants that the termites are pretty bad as the weather gets warmer.)
Pool area: pleasant but basic
Gym: tiny (3 elliptical's & 1 weight bench)

More on the high rates. Universal tenant complaint-regular, significant, rental increases (one of the tenants described the property mgmt as being "greedy"-many current tenants have mentioned that the rental rates are outrageous but they don't want to be bothered w/moving so deal with it).

I've been living @ the property for 5 mths (on a 6 mth lease). They're raising my rent $175.giving me 4 days to make a decision. I've been told this is due to the current market rates. I obviously understand the methodology behind that. However, there have been a consistent minimum of 3-4 1 BR's vacant so I can't justify the significant increase. I really don't want to deal w/the hassle of packing up & moving again so soon but I feel uncomfortable staying @ this property @ the rate they want to charge me (especially when the property doesn't warrant the rates they charge). Some larger property management companies tend to take advantage of their tenants. HG Fenton unfortunately is one that falls under this category.

Overall, I feel you can get a lot more for your money.even in Del Mar as there are a ton of complexes in the area.
