The building is nice as well as the maintenance staff. The management and the leasing office are not accessible, and cryptic if they do respond.

Although the actual apartments are nice inside, there are many things wrong. The reception lady will not help you and is always rude on the phone, packages are always stolen and no one claims responsibility, there is a constant beeping sound and it’s even louder at night so you cannot sleep all night and no one does anything to fix it.

Do not move here. Packages stolen weekly and mailboxes left open constantly sometime mail just in bins for anyone to riffle through. I’ve literally had medications and credit cards stolen. The leasing office does not claim any responsibility and will do nothing to remedy the situation.

This place has a serious theft problem. The internal site is littered with post about people missing or having packages stolen. I have had two packages stolen and my car broken into (its parked in their gated parking garage).

They don't seem to be doing much about it, and apparently refuse to put cameras up.

Its a shame because the location and apartments are nice.

Came on a tour. Michael was very knowledgeable and kind. Listen to all of my requirements that I need in my new home and he was very helpful in finding what I need. Beautiful apartments and the staff is very sweet. Great location, close to markets and movie theater. Definitely thinking about this being my new home.

I heard some absolute horror stories about Jennifer Mix and her abusive nature towards tenants. This includes gossiping and conspiring to remove people from the building. I think she should be grateful she made it out of Hot Topic in that God-awful Nissan Frontier pick-up truck and show some respect to the people that she *works for*. I am not sure what department of Equity she slithered her way into but I say she is bad news and birds of a feather flock together. After speaking with multiple individuals and seeing proof of the type of people Equity staffs in their buildings, I knew it would be a bad choice for me.

No hot water from thursday to tuesday.repair guys can never seem to figure it out.if you call the front desk they don't actually do anything, you have to call the emergency line and the guy will come back and say he can fix it tomorrow.it's not true, they can never fix it.this place is absurdly expensive and the garage is broken into often and they have no idea who is doing it.don't live here. I left a 2 star review because 1 star reviews are usually nutcases, trust me, I never leave bad reviews, this is the one you need to read.don't go here.it's not even worth living this close to the ocean with covid going on, move inland and avoid anything by equity apartments.

Brittany is Great!
Really went out of her way to make our transition from Mariposa to Belle Fontaine unremarkable. There were a few glitched in the beginning but the quick response of Brittany and Shawn made them seamless. Just waited on the touch up paint lol. But I know Shawn will bring it soon. He even wrote a note to explain why he would bring next week.
We appreciate everything that was done for us.

I've read enough negative reviews about this place to recognize the shenanigans that property owners pull and decide to not move here. I appreciate the feedback from those who have lived here. My money will go elsewhere.

Customer service people so bad, no one can contact when you need ask something. Voice message all the time. When we move out of Belle Fontaine Apt. They issue refund check with 4 people, whole family name on it and with initial first name, such as like J. Do (John Do), K. Do (Ken Do). They will make sure, you will not be able cash check. I call office and ask reissue check for one person name which signed lease. They will not do it. I called head office, ask for talk to top management officer, the person give answer is call public relation person, which they do not answer call, voice message only. Also careful when you move out of Apt. They will charge you $300 for cleaning fee, it does not matter if you already did cleaning.
