Belmont Park reviews
18A beautiful place to go with family or couple. I have been visiting it for many years and I like it in many ways, food, games, beach, shops, fabulous and that you should visit at least once in your life if you live on the border.
So much to do and see! Def recommend coming to this place. Be prepared to drop some money on all the things your kids want to do!
Had an amazing time here as always! The funnel cake was delicious and overall this was a great place to spend time with my family!
Lots of games and rides for everyone of all ages. There are places to shop, some are expensive but it all just depends on what you're looking for. Variety of food, sweet treats, and drinks. Fun times!
They did great renovations in this area. Everything is fun and loud like a carnival. Right next to the beach and parking. Get park at least by 10 am or it'll be hard to find a parking spot.
So it's free to get in and walk around. It's kind of like a carnival boardwalk. They have the oldest roller coaster called the little dipper. It's a wooden coaster. Built in 1925. The oldest one on the West Coast. I came here because of this iconic coaster during holidays it is really hard to get close. Do not come in a big vehicle you'll have to pay a lot for parking up to $80. I parked about 6 miles away and had an Uber in.cost about $50 to ride all day or you can buy tickets for individual rides there are other things to do on the boardwalk too like arcades and carnival games. My baby Mikey should have been in Cali for this one!
It was on my bucket list for San Diego but it was a little underwhelming. Probably more suitable for children and teens than a place for adults to hang out. Great for families tho! I only tried out the zip line.and even then I was little sketched out. I didn't feel super secure.
I love the nostalgic boardwalk environment. This place was so magical. Yet, so not well managed. If the park is open until 10pm, all of your food stands should also be open until 10. Lazy with lighting - for about $1000 you could really light up the park with a beautiful aesthetic instead of a dark hole. No one was cleaning the tables or food area. Rope course was a 40 minute wait in line (no people in line, just staff saying how long it will be). A lot of charm here, just needs effective management to make it pop and that is obviously currently lacking.
Personally I have always love this place, it's kind of hard to get a good parking spot, but after that, beach is great, you can walk, eat, play, all in one place.
Love it there on the beach. As real nice place to go in the summertime for waves and views and excitement.
My kids have the year pass and I drop them off there while my girlfriend and I look for a spot to chill at the beach.they never get bored.
Great place for younger people than me. 1 old school video game. My wife was glad she rode the old roller coaster from her childhood! "She's still got it. "
We had major issues trying to find parking on a Sunday afternoon. It definitely hurt the vibe of visiting the Belmont area. My advice is to park further away and be okay with walking.
Enjoyed the day at the park. Seems like a small fair next to the beach. Also with the plunge next to it. Very clean and friendly environment
Spent the whole day it was a blast from rides to food and shopping best part of my trip and it's right on the beach
Went there with the gocity pass. It was so good.
Simple rides and games but unlimited. Went there around mid afternoon and stayed till 11pm even though we did not plan for it. Mini golf and adventure climb were also included which is a big plus. And who can forget the legendary bumper cars in two forms. Just nice that octotron only has 2-3 working legs and hence rakes long to queue.
Watch out for the roller coaster though. Not good for people with back or neck problems.
And don't forget the sunset by the beach, perfect.
My kids and I had a blast here. Nice that they don’t charge an entrance fee and being in SD, $60 for an all day pass is reasonable.
