Ben Frank's, Redwood City CA

Usually this place is reliable. But last night my corn dog was raw in the middle - uncooked cornmeal and the hot dog was cool. Inedible. I’ve never seen so much grease on the onion chips bag. The milkshake was frozen solid, so ate that with a spoon (still tasty!) Still up at 3am with pepto and saltines, hoping to get some sleep.

Basic hot dog you can microwave yourself for an expensive price. If it wasn’t the same price as Chick-fil-A I’d rate it better.

The next time you need a chilicheesedog with onions stop here. It should win an award! You don't need a warehouse to make great hotdogs.

Simple. Great hot dogs, hot links, bratwurst, and other sandwiches. Been going to Ben Frank's since the 90s. Drive through or outside seating. Highly recommended.

Freaking love their corn dogs here and the service is always friendly. Great place for the family and their root beer float is delicious.

Ok all u burger lovers.where ever ur fave burger place is (if it's not this one) and if u truly really dearly love a good burger. Then u MUST come to Ben's Franks and have a great burger! This was my first time ever. And I have raved the whole time to everyone I know about Ben Franks burger. I got the pastrami burger my son got a cheeseburger.
They are heaven! Altho I ordered sweet potato fries- got reg fries bcuz I didn't check.b4 I left. (which an order seemed to be at least 2or3 whole potatoes worth) I forgive them bcuz.burger!

Nobody likes a good corn dog as much as me! It just so happens that, Ben Frank's makes the best corn dogs in Redwood City. I also go to Ben Frank's for their delicious chili dogs too.
Fast, delicious and affordable.

We have visited twice now. My wife says the burger is good and fries were freshly cooked. The lousiana red hot was okay. The chili has beans but is really good. Lastly, the shakes have good flavor and not too thick. Over all we have enjoyed our food and experience.

I normally don't leave a bad review but today I had a terrible experience. The food was great the service Speedy but the customer service needs help I am sorry

A friend and I went here today, we hadn't been in a while. We got Chicago dogs, criscut fries and shakes. Everything was made fresh and to order, it was really great! The staff was friendly and quick. We'll be back.

It's definitely pricey as of lately their little automated system to take your order does not take it correctly now on two occasions I've asked for no onions it's come with onions without tomatoes hopefully they're working on that other than that the dogs are pretty good

First, we read read the reviews and discounted the low reviews as difficult people. Reviews stating rudeness and change of hot dogs. Older pictures show casing on the dog. What we had was a low quality dog with no flavor, no casing, that reviewer was correct.

Another reviewer stated rudeness. Spot on. We said hello.no response, thank u.no response, nothing until we were paying. BtW we called ahead of time to ask about what type hot dogs.response ' don't know, there beef'

Ordered a Chicago Dog. NOT a Chicago dog, no snap, no relish, wrong bun, no celery salt no flavor.

Ordered a chili dog. Even though it had beans it was good.

Start to finish the person at the window. Who had issues with our order was on their cell phone the entire time.even when it looked the a manager was speaking to them. I took pics but my wife does not want to get anyone fired.

2 dogs, 1 fry and a drink 21.00. No issue if it was good.

Back seems good. Food hot and quick.

Always delicious. A must have when visiting from the Valley. A hot link and a Chicago dog.both delish️

Stop at KFC 1000 ft.away, get cole slaw. Stop at whole foods on the way home to get deviled eggs out of the refrigerated, and prepared foods section. 4th of July feast ready with the best dogs. No fuss, no muss.

Chili cheese fries are bomb you can even get criss cut chili cheese fries. I really love chili cheese fries!

I love everything they serve here. From the famous hotdogs up to their desserts. Old building but it's a famous landmark.
