Beneficial State Bank reviews
5Financing anything right now in California is scary the cost of living is so ridiculously high I can see how many people could be in the same situation or one similar to mine. I got my truck weeks before the covid pandemic changed absolutely everything we know.since then I have had 1 good year where financially I wasn't struggling but this year was honestly the hardest with the price hikes on food gas and shelter it was all I could do to keep from drowning I got into the spot where it was pay rent or pay my truck payment after being homeless for a yr and living in a hotel, paying rent was the obvious choice so I fell a couple months behind on my truck payment and came home from work one morning and my truck was gone the bank had taken it back.to say I was devastated is an understatement I thought this is the end I will never recover my truck that I have worked so hard for, you always think repo is the end and it's gone for good. But I'm here to say keep trying don't give up I called the bank and this angel named Maria answered my call she worked magic on her end reduced some of the fees and guided me step by step on everything I needed to do to recover my truck and in just over 24 hrs I had my vehicle back home in my driveway where she belongs. I want to say a huge thank you to Miss Maria she is a huge assett to the beneficial bank and her customer service and heart of gold shine through. Thank you from tho bottom of my heart
Terrible auto loan company! I only financed my car through this bank because it was promoted through “driving clean in the San Joaquin”. Their online paying system does not reflect accurate information and it does not post historical information. You have to “email a rep requesting it” and you never get it. They also charged for “insurance “ even though I had provided proof of insurance at the time of purchase AND had insurance the whole time. I was told it was my responsibility to provide the insurance if they didn’t have it. Mind you I never you knew because I wasn’t advised nor did it state in their online portal. Then they report “late payments” because their online portal does not reflect accurate information! Forget trying to call because All staff are rude and don’t want to help. There is no sense of urgency and their answer to everything is I don’t know or I am not sure. A couple have even admitted their pay system is messed up! Last but not least they have fees and charges they can not explain and do not care to explain so you get stuck paying for things you do not know that you’re paying to avoid late payment son your credit. I will be reporting FDIC and BBB. This bank does not offer fair and consistent service. All in all- stay clear of this bank and take your business elsewhere.
I called today about a fee I was confused about on my account and Denise was extremely helpful with me over the phone. I used to work as a receptionist in a doctors office and i could really sense that she cared, she was very patient with me and even gave me a thorough example when explaining my account info. 10 out of 10 customer service for Ms. Suarez!
Maria at Beneficial State Bank is wonderful and a blessing. She has empathy and compassion for her customers. I appreciate her humbleness she showed my daughter. She put aside the business for a minute and blessed my daughter and let her know things will work out and reassured her they can work something out. I appreciate her. Maria gave ex ellant service while showing compassion.
I called in to make a auto loan payment to the local branch. When I asked about my previous payment this week because it didn't add up, she responded with a irritating tone I didn't appreciate. She could've responded better. Don't bring your problems from home to work. It's very telling when you speak on the phone. She might need more training in customer service. Do better. Just saying.
