The best of the best always on point & a great place to take kids (covid kind of kills the fun because they don’t cook & do tricks in front of you but still bomb)

Take out order and the food had no flavor. This is the second time I order food to go and the rice doesn't have that great taste and the rest of the food is whatever. Won't be back until they open up. Went back on 3-14-21 and the food is still not great. It is only this location. Order extra garlic butter to give your food flavor. What a disappointment

I can’t really complain all things considered. However, during the times of covid, you are best ordering takeout. I sat down in the tent twice and the food literally comes out in 5 mins. The thing with takeout is no tip to pay and the food is very comparable to sitting down in the tent lol

The whole process of securing a reservation was very easy, and when we arrived we were immediately seated. They had all the heat lamps to keep all guests warm (I get cold very easily so it was amazing). All of the food was delicious and brought out in a timely manner. I even got a complimentary birthday ice cream which was very nice.

Im here right now and was hoping to have a great time with my son and family for his birthday.worst chef in the house got our table, guy must hate his job basically a flop not coming back every other table is having a blast and our cook is acting like he doesent want to be here. Sad jonathan reservation for 10 birthday celebration 4: 45pm manager came by and apologized and gave a discount on the bill rest of the chefs seemed on point and fun.

I came here and I had a reservation I was on time they made me late about 10 minutes and I went out to get my wallet then I came back they closed the door and then the manager Shina kicked me out! She came and told me they are closed! Come on! I was here on time and you guys let me wait and then what! Woow i can’t believe!
It’s my sister birthday and we came all the way from Los Angeles just because we love this restaurant but it’s really not nice from the manager Shina!
I will not come back here they doesn’t treat there customers good!

I went during happy hour and they had some good special pricing. The food was good and there was already a good crowd amassing. The bar area was lively with all having a joyful time Bless you Rocky All I and my memories of your original NY restaurant where you cooked for my father and our party for my birthday.

Delicious food, great fun ambiance. A little expensive but worth it for a fun time, especially if someone has never been before.

I’ve been coming here for years. This is such a fun place to come together as a group or with friends, enjoy some good food and drinks, and a little show. If you haven’t been here I recommend coming here to check out the experience. It’s all about the experience. There’s steak is also very good and they also have some good fish.

Make sure to call for you reservation ahead.my wait thine was 1hr thanks to the manager for Newport beach location as soon as I spoke to him he gave us a table great chef love how they entertain when they cook.

Food is terrible. Don't know why this place is popular. It must be the amateur show. The food is what should be important at a restaurant.

Very cold inside and the service can be a little slow on occasions however delicious food and very nice choice of drinks. Great place to hang out with friends.

Took my parents here for them to try out Teppan-Yaki for the first time and our chef ended up ruining the whole experience. Our server decided to seat my family with 3 super drunk guys that were using a very Vogue language. The chef ended up giving a lot of food to those drunk guys since he thought he has to obey they demands to get a bigger tip. One of my family members even didn’t end up getting their shrimp because of that reason. Andrew get sales job not chef job.

1st time visiting and I have to say it was an awesome experience. The chef was funny and entertaining. Kept us smiling and laughing the whole time. And the food was excellent. The chef was very strategic with keeping the foods seperated while preparing our meals because some guests have sea food allergies. Very creative to say the least. I would go there every month if I lived close enough. I loved the flaming onion volcano. 5 stars.

This has been one of our family’s favorite places for many years, and has yet to disappoint. The Teppan tables are entertaining and Sushi bar are fun, the regular booth tables are quiet and intimate. Best to be patient, there can be a bit of a wait; however, well worth the wait.

Nothing to special about it here. Took quiet a while for us to be seated for having a reservation, staff was a little flustered in what was going on but the food was still exactly what you would expect from every other teppan style dining.

Teppan seating is limited and 8 per table is a bit crowded but you end up making new aquatints. Fun time, 2 hour dinner usually a 1 hour wait with reservations. Excellent food.

B day heaven, only b day crowd b day songs one after another. The food is still decent but not a quite enjoyable experience.

Staff and atmosphere are both excellent but if you're an adult and like to act like a normal adult be forewarned.there are a lot of kids and you'll likely have to share a table with them. Also, pray for a good chef (some of them are good and some of them suck).
