Cute little pet store! Got my dog some fish treats and he loves it!
Wish they have a store at east bay

Friendly employees. Well stocked with natural and raw dog foods. Plenty of parking. I tried the Carna4 and a freeze dried beef. They also gave me samples of raw food and freeze dried. My dogs loved it all especially the freeze dried beef and pretty much the Carna4 venison. The venison was better than the chicken Carna4 because it’s smaller kibble and a little softer. I have been using Costco chicken dog food because it was recommended by the vet and is a very reasonable price. My son feeds his dogs raw food he makes himself and recommended I buy food from Ben’s Barketplace. Highly recommend talking to Monica because she is very knowledgeable about dog food and super friendly.

The 3 employees that worked there the evening of 08/17/23 were wonderful! Very helpful and patient with all my questions. Also very knowledgeable about the many different brands of food out there. Will definitely come back!

As someone who has put literally thousands of hours into diet research for pets. I cannot recommend this store enough. 99% of problems in your pet can and will be tracked down to what is being fed to them. These big brand name companies like purina, hills science diet, and blue Buffalo etc.are literally poisoning our animals. If you don’t believe me. Take a picture of the ingredients list and research some of the ingredient names you don’t recognize. You may say “our vet recommended one of those brands” vets are typically funded by the kibble brand that is usually displayed in there offices. Also, the vet will recommend a kibble brand and that kibble brand is slowly make your pet sick, which will bring them right back to the vet bringing them in more business. If all pets were healthy how would vets make money? And the best way to bring in business? Sell them a kibble that a “doctor” recommends. Is basically a perfect partnership. Which is why you should always look into a holistic vet. The best way to have the healthiest, problem free, and have your pet live the longest life possible. Is to feed raw but I know a lot of people do not have the time or cannot afford this. Which is why there are kibble brands that are very few ingredients, no fillers and no chemicals. You may ask why I’m mentioning all of this? Today was the first time I walked into bens and oh my god. I could not fine ONE product in this entire store that I found or considered unhealthy for my dog. Every single kibble brand was a extremely extremely healthy option. Even treats. Just from walking around the store I could instantly tell, who ever created this store has put even more and time and effort into helping pets live as healthy as possible than me! I didn’t think that was possible. I don’t want to make this too long, but as someone who has done there research and applied that research to my own pets and have seen them being the healthiest they have ever been, this is the only store I have ever seen that genuinely cares about your pet being as healthy as possible.

Excellent, high quality food for your fur baby. The people who work there are so friendly and helpful. They often offer samples of the best stuff. We have the best experience every time we go. Totally worth the drive!

I went today to the store for the first time. I absolutely fell in love with the staff and high quality treats and foods they carry! I highly recommended this place!

Two days ago we went to Ben’s Barketplace looking to buy my dogs some really good quality food. Angela provided us with so much education, walked us through the whole process and made it really easy for us to understand where to start and how to start. She is very patient and knows a lot! She cares about animals and wants to make sure us dog owners understand exactly how dog nutrition works! I am so thankful she was there to help us! Thank you so much Angela, you’re amazing!

This is my favorite place to buy dog food and treats for my pet. What I like about them is that they are an independent pet store, which means they carry brands that are healthier and better quality than chain stores.

If you are considering feeding raw, this place has a great variety, and they also give out samples of many of their products so you can test them out. I definitely recommend!

Knowledgeable staff and fantastic products. If you are serious about your pets health you should check them out.

Super cute Market store for dogs and cats, they introduced us to some healthy treats for our puppy.

Had to run in for supplemental dog food when we found out we needed to unexpectedly stay in town. Ended up leaving with a new toy and a chew treat, along with a bag of treats for Halloween! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, which really helped with picking things out. We’ll be making special stops in every time we’re in town now!
