We were very lucky to meet Yana when we just moved to LA - she not only helped us to rent the apartment but she also advised us on the school for our daughter and many other things that you need to know when you're new to the city. Contacted Yana to view a rental as she was the person listed online and on the “for lease” sign in front of the unit. Upon contacting her, she immediately referred me to someone named Nikolai along with a phone number. I contacted Nikolai for a viewing and asked for an application. No response for 2 days. I let Yana know and she didnt respond. An hour or so later I got a text about the unit from a Nikolai which was an entirely different number. Not only is she uncommunicative & unresponsive, but her work is clearly unorganized. My room mate and I submitted applications without viewing the unit and paid the fee. We asked when we could tour the unit. They said in a week. A day before the slated tour, I asked when I could come by and they said they had already signed a lease with another tenant. Her and her partner were thoroughly unresponsive, unhelpful, and frankly really rude. You’re better off with another agent or simply doing it yourself.
