Bergamo is a wonderful community, not just a school. We had complete peace of mind knowing our 2 children were so well taken care of and loved in this community. The teachers are fantastic! Very well trained and genuinely care for the kids. The administration is professional, transparent, and caring. We love Laura!

I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a school for their children.

My daughter has been in Bergamo since she was a baby, and now she’s turning 6! We plan for her to go to Bergamo all the way to grade school.

We wouldn’t have it any other way. My daughter is excited to go to school and learn. I can’t imagine any other learning environment for my daughter. We are so grateful to be part of Bergamo family.

My daughter started at Bergamo Montessori when she was 4 years old. This is wonderful place for a true Montessori education. Besides providing a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for the child to learn, the methods and materials they use are multidimensional and practical allowing the child to have a hands-on experience by exploring the choices available and picking his/her choices.

What I love the most about this place is that my daughter loves this school. She loves the teachers, especially her teacher Tracy. The teachers are loving, caring, experienced and knowledgeable. They truly dedicate their time in fostering children’s creativity and independence.
They also have wonderful director, Laura, who has done an amazing job of keeping the students and staff safe during this pandemic.

When it was time for my daughter to go to a new school, I was so impressed how far her reading, writing and mathematical skills have come. The tools and experiences she had at Bergamo built a strong foundation that helped her have the confidence entering her new school. She is so advance in her class and she didn’t have a hard time transitioning socially and academically.

If you are looking for Montessori Schools in Sacramento area, I highly recommend Bergamo Montessori because they are simply the best.

My boys have been at Bergamo for 4 years, and my youngest will finish in 2028! We love the school and can't say enough great things about both the teaching staff and the administration. I was a Montessori kid and really wanted the "freedom within structure" approach for my own children. Both are thriving, and we are grateful every day for this extended "family"!

I highly recommend Bergamo Montessori. My sons have been attending this school for the past four years, one from toddler and the other infant, and they have had a wonderful time learning and growing at this school. My wife and I have been incredibly appreciative of the teachers’ and staffs’ willingness to go the extra mile to meet with us to discuss curriculum or any issue that pops up. This school has been a great fit for our family and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the right learning environment for their children to flourish.

Our daughter has been in the infant classroom since she was 3 mo old. We feel so lucky that she spends her days at Bergamo. The teachers / guides / aides are all phenomenal and truly care about her and her development. We love having her around the other babies and children - she has met all of her milestones early and has a robust vocabulary for a 16mo old - and we fully attribute this to Bergamo. She is also incredibly social, which we again attribute to the fun and supportive environment. We live in East Sac but commute to The Pocket every day - and the drive is ABSOLUTELY worth it. Every day we feel grateful that our daughter is part of this community.

If you want a safe space for your children where they are loved and feel secure while you're away Bergamo is where they need to be. We've been a part of the Bergamo community for 5.5 years now and have two children attending and on top of the love and kindness they are shown and taught the life skills and lessons they learn while in school amaze me. If you are interested in a Montessori environment, Bergamo is hands down the only place I would trust with my children.

We are so grateful to be a part of the Bergamo Montessori community, our 4 kids have attended from toddler through 6th grade. When we were first searching for preschools our criteria was cleanliness, safety, convenience and education. Bergamo checked all the boxes and so much more. It is a caring, thoughtful, diverse community that has inspired our children to explore the world, love learning, solve problems, use their imagination and work with others. The staff is full of wonderful human beings who genuinely care for our family. The Montessori philosophy has fostered independence, curiosity, empathy, a love of learning, and a quiet confidence in their academic abilities. BMS has celebrated all of our kids and their different personalities & learning styles, guiding them with a gentle hand and heart, such a gift!

After looking at a few places for our daughter to start school at one and a half years old, we chose Bergamo Montessori; best decision we have made regarding her education.
She stayed at Bergamo until she finished 6th grade and would have stayed longer if 7th and 8th grade were offered.
Great experience all around, excellent learning environment, and a wonderful sense of community.

My daughter has attended Bergamo Montessori since she was 3 years old. She is entering her 6th grade (and final) year at the school in the fall. I could never express how grateful we are to have found Bergamo. It's been an amazing experience to part of this community for so long. Every single staff member at every level cares so deeply for these children and it is evident in everything they do and every choice they make. I can't imagine my daughter getting a better education anywhere else. I attribute her strong sense of self, love for learning and her deep sense of belonging in her community a direct result of the wonderful guides she's been so fortunate to have along the way. We have made friendships here that will last a lifetime. We would not hesitate to continue on at Bergamo is there were programs beyond upper elementary!

I highly recommend Bergamo for any other parents and students.

Our kids have attended Bergamo on Pocket since they were babies and we've had an incredible experience! My wife toured a lot of different daycares/schools when our first child was born and Bergamo was by far the best fit. Here are my two main reasons for continuing to send our kids here:

-We love the Montessori philosophy that teaches independence and focuses on hands-on activities with no electronics. We feel like this has translated to our home in that our kids are often able to do things on their own that we never taught them, including potty training and changing clothes. We were especially flabbergasted when one day our son came home and just sat on the potty by himself before we had started practicing with him.

-The teachers are amazing communicators and educators. In the newborn and toddler classrooms, we were constantly updated to our children's progress and it was super easy to contact the teachers to ask them questions about anything. Teachers have even showed up at our kids' sporting events on the weekends. This just shows how Bergamo is basically a giant family. We have always felt lucky to have such a dedicated and supportive group of teachers. Additionally, the training and research done by the teachers is reflected in the classroom. The variety of new and interesting activities that are introduced into the classroom is impressive, and shows again the dedication of the teachers to their craft. Our kids are always engaged and talking about the new pets in Maria's classroom or things they've helped bake in Kisha's class, or working with geographical maps in Tracy's class.

Overall I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole Bergamo community.

Both my kids attended Bergamo Montessori from the time they were toddlers through 6th grade. I can't recommend it enough! The school was such a welcoming, supportive community for our family. The teachers made a life-long impact on my kids and have prepared them well for middle school.
