Bernardo Heights Middle School, San Diego CA

HORRIBLE. Most teachers don't even teach/support you. One of the PE coaches gives you a TON of homework. Some teachers get mad at you for no reason. I prefer not to say this teacher's name, but they called out many kids for talking even though they didn't do anything.
The lunch is horrible too - not enough tables. If you don't get a table then you only have two choices - Sit on the ground or the stairs. The noon duties tries stopping you from running, but that's the best way to claim a table because other kids are like the Flash.
Another BIIIG con is that the trends are either inappropriate or just plain cringy. The song "Gucci gang" was a huge trend a few months ago and most of the kids probably don't know what the lyrics mean. The song talks about cocaine (a drug), and has many swear words.
To be honest I am completely fine with swear words because I got SO used to it since 5th grade. But it annoys me that a lot of people use it wrong or too much. I think the staff needs to stop this problem
The last con is that the school bell really bothers me. It sounds like a really loud censor sound effect.
Overall, this school is absolutely terrible. Don't go here. It's literally one of those ROBLOX prison games. 1/5

Not that great. Some teachers are good and some are not that good. It’s more of the students and their lack of discipline that makes this school bad. I wish that the yard duties would actually pay attention to what the students did. Some teachers are also really slow and you do not learn much.

Although this school is really great, one of the cons of the school is the "orchestra teacher" ms reiner.i dread all days i walk into her classroom.she always talks about her kitty cats and concerts for the whole period when you have the opportunity to practice.if you have a busy schedule i don’t recommend her.also she states “twin peaks middle school” is better than her classes even though we do not need her opinion shoved in our throats.the teachers aren’t that bad, the noon duty workers don’t even know what’s going on at lunch.i hate the fact where at lunch a huge crowd of people surrounds a table near me.there’s also people who are very offensive and people who say disrupting things in class, so watch out.also, some of the athletic boys can be sexist.don’t join orchestra if you want to be happy.

OMG I LOVVEEEE BHMS! The teachers there are so incredibly nice, and very supportive of their students. The kids there can be pretty nice, but sometimes the older boys mess around with younger female students, but other than that, this is a pretty sweet place. If you get Mr. Fridenberg for SS or Lang arts, you're in for an amazing year. The food there is pretty good too, and the staff here are incredibly helpful, compared to Westwood, the Elementary school i went to, which was the worst school I went to. Bernardo Heights makes up for that, that's for sure. Thank You BHMS!

I actually like BHMS, surprisingly. But here are the cons that I have: The yard duties don't even care when I tell them that there are people doing stuff that's bad, they don't even care. But the pros are that my teachers are nice and stuff and if you have Mr. Friedenberg, you have a teacher that's a legend!:) Also my teachers give me a whole bunch of homework for one day, and now I've been slacking for a while now. P. E.is really fun, believe it or not. The coaches are really nice, too.

Bhms is fine, if you LOVE constant profanity, inattentive staff, genitalia drawn on walls, mean librarians, etc etc etc. The teachers are mostly fine though. Also, the bathrooms look like a demonic lovechild of a swamp and the god of feces.

MR. Friedenberg is the best teacher ever, if you get him its a sign from the gods. I am giving 5 stars to mr.friedenberg, the school is pretty cool too. Just kidding its ehhhhh

I hate whenever I'm sitting with my friends and all of a sudden a huge crowd forms around another table making loud noises. Today a group of kids were playing spin the bottle. It was very distracting

I have no clue what this school is like, but my friends say it's garbage. They say the food tastes like cardboard and the occasional outdated milk. They don't even do AVID, which they have in Twin Peaks, and as a Ram, it will help all the kids with 2.5-. You suck and go home staff. Oh, the staff. I swear, they are all ok, but the PE teachers, that's a whole other problem, probably more some thing you should look at rather than that baseball game you were looking at going to. FIX THIS BROKEN SCHOOL NOW! Thx bi.

Amazing School, amazing teachers, especially Ms. Testa and Mr. Friedenburg. Food is amazing, and the students here are really nice. I recommend this school to anyone who lives in RB

This school is.well more of a mediocre kind. Most of the teachers aren’t that bad, but one of the librarians can be kinda mean. The bathrooms are pretty bad and the toilet paper is one of those kinds that you have to unravel yourself and doesn’t roll. Also it feels like sandpaper and is thin

Most of the teacher are pretty nice, expect a few. Staff should pay more attention on what's going around. Librarian is super mean and arrogant, give the evil eye and speak mean frequently. Most of the time she's blind and don't pay attention to the playing of games on computer and eating in the library. Students are pretty nice mostly, even though lots of bad behavior happening. For example: someone draw a dick on the bathroom wall, some dude throw a stink bomb in the library, some guy put a Nazi flag on a tree. Not recommended to parents who don't want their children to learn lots of bad words and watch 18 year or older videos.

After 4 months of being here after moving from NYC, I can say it’s not that bad. The teachers can be good or bad, it depends who you get. However, it’s not all great. At lunch they get my order wrong and the playlist when they play music during lunch is just horrible, and whoever made it is out of touch of what kids like these days (Modern Rap and Pop from this year, not pre-2014). PE isn’t that bad either.

Some of the teachers are good. Lunch servers always get my order wrong. Noon duties do not care about anything that happens at lunch. Way too much homework. Ases is cool. New phone rule is horrible.

Terrible school, terrible staff, terrible students. Other than Mrs. DeBolt, Mr. Schumacher and Mr. Saidani the teachers at this school are terrible. Don't even bother going here.

I loved the sub for Mrs. DeBolt
He let us watch some YouTube coyote Peterson or something.
We just did a bunch of labs and not hard tests

I love Bernardo Heights.

Bernardo Heights is a great middle school. Unlike many tv shows and books, its a mixed crowd. Some act cool, others act calm but nice.

The teachers are great, and you learn so much as the day rushes by. Theres just enough homework, and so many clubs. The electives are great, and the elective teachers are nice and helpful.

The cafeteria is better than you'd think.

Just worry about your grades and you'll be fine.
