5This place will rip you off. The work is fine. But the pricing is outrageous. I paid for what i needed. And got a quote on the rest. Went to Guanajuato's a half block away that also has a mechanic and the estimate was literally half. What a joke. Dont get ripped off here they just make up their own prices and bill you for labor they didnt do to jack up the price.
Took my car to have the engine dialed in. They removed some of my linkages from the transmission and never hooked them back (tv cable to aod) anyone who is familiar with those know that’s asking for trouble. Unfortunately I didn’t notice until it was too late. I was driving back home and my pedal got stuck in between my tv cable, that was bouncing around my linkage on the carb. Was a very scary moment as the car took off into traffic. If you take your car check your linkages first, was not very happy with the damage caused to my overdrive nor the scare given to me.
Overpriced place told me $700 to install dual carbs found a place that charged me $180 it's nothing out of this world don't get scammed
So far great!
If you have an older car, specially with a carburetor. Take there
They also do smog checks and general machanic
Been going here for decades. One of the only places left that still rebuild carburetors.
