18The worst experience ever is when I went in they didn't even greet me and then people that worked there and everyone just passed by me like I didn't exist and then they looked at me first like I was being helped and then when I left like I stole something and I don't need to steal I have a job for that never be back to this location anytime soon or in the near future
Great advertised prices but never any stock. Good luck finding in stock information online or over the phone because if you call in, the snotty and lazy employees don’t verify on hand inventory because of Covid excuses.
I called and confirmed my appointment for an iPhone repair. I have heart surgery the next day, so it was important to get fixed before since I’m down for a few weeks not able to leave the house not to mention I live 90 min away from the Best Buy. I showed up to my 5: 40pm appointment time as verified before hand and they tell me they can’t repair my phone because the person that repairs iPhones left early. Didn’t call to cancel my appointment, no warnings just waited till I waited 20 min In line and a 3 hour round trip drive. I will never buy anything here again not phone repair services not anything from the general store because that’s just horrible customer service.
Lol bought an open box “ Works like New “ they said, Apple iPad over year ago that always seemed slow, compared to our other ones purchased new else aware so did a restore with Apple iTunes and now comes up with this remote management notice from some school in Kentucky USA. Cannot use it now. Best Buy said tough luck.
The phone tech (Kevin I believe his name was) spent all the time in the world chatting this cute little highschool girl up, yes highschool. Asked how her classes were, and so forth, super friendly, however; when I was done waiting the 20+ minutes it took for him to finish being overly nice to the underage girl. He barely answered my questions, didn't even take the time to understand my questions, pointed me to a wall of phones, that ended up not being what I needed, but when I turned around to tell him so, he was gone. Nowhere in sight. I ended up looking around by myself, saw something I liked but thought it too expensive. Turns out I was right, went to Target the next day, and found the same phone for quite a significant sum less than the tech giant could offer. I returned to Best buy again on 8-18-23 and had a way better experience, got immediate help finding what I needed. Had a very pleasant experience, and the item was only a dollar more than competitor and Amazon pricing.
If I could have given a half of a star I would have. I bought a dvd player 4 months ago it’s broken I had a person on the phone with their customer service center say no problem just go to the store and they will exchange it. Well that was bad advice they without blinking said no way and the person at there support center didn’t know what they were talking about. So 2 hours later I bought the same dvd player at target and it was $15.00 cheaper
Will no longer shop here as Best buy only will accept People of Color for management training. They also require christians to hide their crosses and demands them to partake in lgbtq courses. The most corporate DEI bigoted racism needs to go away.
Bought an open box excellent condition, ask the reps if all the parts were included. Drive 1.5 hours there and than home to find no parts. I tried to contact the store directly and could not do anything but leave a message for them to send to the store. Call center support would not do anything but tell me I have to drive back 1.5 hours to speak to the manager directly and bring back the TV which I had to rent a truck to get it in the 1st place. This would than make this a 6 hour journey and a waste of gas. Pending a call back from the manager. Missing the stand, the power cord, the and remote. ******UPDATE***
DROVE BACK TO FOLSOM BEST BUY AND S/W PAUL AND CHRIS THE MANAGERS. THEY SEEMED VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THE MATTER AND MADE IT RIGHT. THEY CONSIDERED THE FACT WE HAD TO DRIVE 6 HOURS TOTAL TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE THEY ALSO WENT TO DISCUSS THE MATTER WITH WHOMEVER ELSE WAS INVOLVED. WE CAN SAY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN STORE IS THE ONLY WAY TO HANDLE ANY MATTER. WE APPRECIATED THE ATTENTION AND RESPECT AND PROMPTNESS TO HANDLE THE MATTER. THANK YOU.
This Is A Great Place For Gaming Including Games, Keyboards, Mouses, Mouse Pads, Headsets, Controllers, And Much More They All Kinds Of Electronics And I Go Here All The Time They Have Great Staff And You Can Find Things For Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, PCs, And More They Even Have More Than Just Electronics Like Collectables. Overall Great Place And I Will Not Stop Going Here
Was confirmed via phone at two different locations that they could fix my phone. Drove 90m- tech said since covid they tell everyone to come in and they're not authorized to work on Samsung. Would have been nice to know before I drug my kiddos out in 100° to rush there and denied.
Great service. We were offered help multiple times while we were browsing and the employees were very nice once we did decide on the product that we wanted. But they haven't signed the tags on their fire extinguishers in months.
I love this place, I bring everyone I know here when I get a chance. The workers are smart and did hello as soon as you walk in the door. Love love love BEST BUY!
Pros: Interest-free installments.
Geek The fact that you can receive technical compensation for all products for one year with a single pay.
A/S service not available for online purchase.
Cons: Expensive.
Hannah went above and beyond to help us find the right customization, package and price points for our appliance needs. She was super patient, and genuinely wanted to help us save money (which she saved is $3k.) Working with her made getting stuff for our new home a pleasant experience.
Hannah/Eli helped my father and I buy a microwave and order installation. She was super friendly and patient. Also helped save us a ton of money. 10/10 would recommend getting service from her.
Had a problem with my radio not turning
off. Stopped in and Stefan fixed it. The guys at both Bird Cage and Folsom are awesome
Tried to get a car stereo system that I purchased from Crutchfield installed today - FAIL.
In short, I purchased a system from Crutchfield, to save money. Crutchfield directed me to Best Buy to get the system installed.
It takes awhile to get car audio installation done at Best Buy. I waited 3 weeks for this appointment with Best Buy. I made the appointment with them right after I purchased from Crutchfield.
I talked to 3 Crutchfield car stereo experts beforehand, did the research with them, then bought an Infinity speaker system. All 3 car stereo experts told me that I did not need an amp for this stereo system, explained why, and I understood.
Two days before I was supposed to get my car stereo installed, Stephan from Best Buy called me and was really intense and worried about the installation, that something was wrong. I said that I'd call him back and we'd get this resolved. So I did. The day before my Best Buy installation appointment, I facilitated a 3-way call with a Crutchfield car audio expert and Stephan at Best Buy, in order to let the car stereo experts talk this seeming issue out, and Stephan AGREED with them over the phone about my purchase/choice, that it would fit my car, that it would work, that it would be OK. So, all was good, right? Wrong. When I showed up the next morning for the car audio installation, alone, smiling, excited about getting this new system installed, Stephan was ready to give me a piece of his mind. I had no idea I would be walking into the storm.
I do not have car installation audio experience. I trusted what 3 Crutchfield car audio experts assured me was enough. Stephan at Best Buy was ready for battle. No smiling, no friendly demeanor, just righteous determination that I was making the wrong choice for my car.
Stephan at Best Buy in Folsom said that I did, in fact, need an amp. He insisted that I needed one, lecturing at me for 25 minutes (during scheduled time that I should've been getting my car speakers installed) about why I needed an amp, trying to get me to understand, telling me that I probably would not hear much of a difference from my factory installed base model currently in my car versus an Infinity car speaker system, because he has been installing car stereos for 15 years, etc.
Stephan CLEARLY DID NOT WANT TO INSTALL MY SPEAKERS.
I felt attacked and sideswiped. Why couldn't he just do his job? I kept on asking, "What do you want from me? " as my head was spinning. It was a sh*tshow. He angrily placed my components back into the box, and said he was calling his manager to deal with me. She came out to the installation garage. She assured me that he has been installing car stereos for 15 years and knows what he is talking about. I was a wreck at this point, because I had just endured him talking down to me and leading me in circles, going nowhere, and I was inconsolable by then. He would not install my car audio system, and I was afraid to have him do it anyway at this point, so I left.
In the car driving away, I called Crutchfield and told them what happened. They were floored! They had never heard of anything like this ever happening. I talked to 2 people at Crutchfield and they told me that all he needed to do was install the speakers, that there was nothing wrong with the system they designed for me, that it would work great, fit my car, everything.
The kind and helpful people at Crutchfield sent me to another car audio installer in my area. The new installer (Mobile Evolutions in Shingle Springs) told me that I might need an amp, but probably not, and "let's see how it sounds after we get it installed", and that "there should not be an issue". They also said that all the components were chosen correctly for my car and Infinity was nice system to have. They'd install everything and "we'd listen together to see if this was what I needed". Kind, right? Helpful, right? Easy, right?
WAS THAT SO HARD BEST BUY?
For the love of God, the drama in this situation was uncalled for. I will never ever do business with Best Buy again. EVER.
I came in with a broken phone and, in spite of crazy black Friday crowds, they got me fixed up and on my way to vacation. Great effort by the entire cell phone team.
