Very friendly and affordable! They are genuine pet lovers and want the best for you and your pet. Definitely will be coming back whenever our babies need a check up.

I've been to several vets for my dogs, and Best Friends is the only place with fair prices. Everyone is also super nice there.

Friendly staff. My cat felt comfortable and I did too. I felt like she was in good care. I appreciate how there was a movie on so it helped my younger son. We will be back for future well visit checks.

Expensive and will charge you for every little thing. Starting 02/2023, a few items/services that was complimentary will be charged, like PA visit will be charged just like Vet doctors visit.etc

Was just in new staff seemed nice but the exam rooms look so dirty and run down not the same place as 3 years ago.

We loved it here, they were great with our pup but when COVID hit they doubled if not tripled their fees. Ridiculous! Found another vet just as good reasonable fees.

Dr Daniella helped us last time we came here with our kitty that we had to put down, and now we have Dr Boyd. Even after putting out kitty down they sent us a card sending their love which I thought was extremely kind and thoughtful. Everyone here is so kind and gentle with our kitties. Even the receptionist has been unbelievably kind to us. When Petco wouldn’t let us get the food we needed for our sick kitty, they gave us some for free. I have nothing but kind things to say about them. I have never felt such warmth from a vet and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

Extremely disappointed. Just called to let the office know that the mousse I received for my dogs feet was not properly closed when it was given to me and spilt ruining my purse and everything in it, not to mention I have nothing to put on my dogs feet! I was told that this was MY FAULT and that if I wanted another one I would have to pay for it. I spend a lot of money and have never had a bad experience with your office until now. I cant believe to keep a good client happy you couldn't even apologize! What poor customer service. You very well could have lost a good client over $35.

The doctors and staff here are friendly, gentle, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I am so glad to have them provide health care services and treatments for my old my Vinnie!

My two dogs have seen several vets at this location and I have always been pleased. They always explain all of the treatments and fees clearly. During my last visit, Dr. Boyd was able to examine my very nervous terrier in a creative way to make for a positive vet experience. Thanks for service with excellence from all the staff as well.

A very bad, unprofessional experience with this practice on 4/07/22… on top of our family's +16 year old terminally ill cat displaying numbered days. Vets as managers of the practice on this day couldn't timely intercept the unprofessional behavior of front desk staff, JOSH and ASHLEY. Dr. Rollason did give me a call back, but only after Josh took strides to prevent management from learning about his behavior and the damage done between their practice and client & family pet. Dr. Rollason apologized and acknowledge the unprofessionalism that took place and how it could have been all avoided had Josh taken a few minutes first to check with a vet in office this day. With solid reason to know our cat was in his final hours/day of life, I didn't need Best Friends Vet's lapse in management on top of what we were already going through with our cat. Given circumstances, some apologies don't simply repair the situation and amount to forgiveness. Our cat did pass away comfortably the next day without a hint of follow-up from Best Friends, but fortunately with the quick assistance of another close-by, compassionate vet that had competent management in place. Best Friends will never see my business again.

We just started taking all our furry friends here after being continually disappointed by our previous vet. They are extremely knowledgeable and very caring group of people. We always get a follow up call from them the next day, just to see how everyone is doing.

Wonderful staff. Very friendly and patient. They are also very friendly with one another so it feels very family oriented. Really nicely decorated. Thorough exams. My dogs tend to be defensive and somehow did not act up, probably because the staff is so nice and experienced! Shout out to Dr. Boyd and vet tech Riley (I think that's her name, she was blonde) for being so patient with my dogs! It takes a lot of love and talent to do what they do, especially with my animals who are more nervous. Will continue to come back as I have been the last 2 years!

I changed vets every couple of years until I found one I was happy with. Everything they've done for my cats was reasonably priced and ethical, I never felt like I was getting random upcharges or additional services that weren't necessary. I know everyone's in business and needs to make a buck but once I know a vet is doing stuff like that I leave. This place is ethical. I've never disagreed with anything they've done so far. I appreciate it.

We have a recommendation for our puppy from a friend. When we called our regular vet they couldn't fit us in for 6 weeks, and our girl was scratching so much she was red. Best Friends fit us in that afternoon and called us the next day to check on her. They are our forever vet!

My family loves Dr. Reinhart. After moving from Huntington Beach to San Diego, it was hard to find a vet that didn't make Lucy cringe. She loves them so much when we take the turn into parking, she starts jumping around the car practically out the window trying to get there.

We adopted a new fur baby during COVID lockdown. The entire staff was so great implementing safety measures and still able to accommodate emergency visits.

I highly recommend Best Friends vet hospital, after trying 5 other local vets. We will be longtime clients.

We love this place especially Dr. Bob. Thank you for taking care of our puppies and our dear Snoopy (this was posted in 2015)

Well, things have changes since Dr Bob sold his practice. This is our latest horrible experience with the new owners.

Since Dr. Bob sold his practice this place is not the same (we had been with them since the first week they opened) steady decline in customer service. One of our dog needed to be seen right away, we called and were told to bring him in ASAP. When we got there they told us they can't see him and told us to go to pet ER.
I called and ask why they did not take our dog and the manager said they don't have any records of us calling in before bringing our dog. THIS IS A LIE.
Why would we take our dog there without calling first and making an appointment? On top of that the Vet called my husband who was at work and asked him what was going on with our dog (how would he even know we called them in the first place? If according to them we never called) I was not able to contact my husband before that.
Horrible experience. Thank God our dog is fine.

I just switched to this vet per a friend's recommendation. They are so kind attentive and understanding, not here to over charge and truly do care for your I am so happy with our switch
