Best Western Heritage Inn - Chico reviews
17Very clean rooms. The beds are comfortable, and the motel was quiet. Definitely a pleasant stay.
I've stayed at this Best Western Heritage Inn in Chico several times now (I have a new grandson here!), and I appreciate everything about the experience from the front desk staff, the breakfast, the excellent wifi, the ultra-clean rooms, and the room amenities.
Bed sucks, shower is awful and the chair has definitely been well used! Needs to clean up the room and better shower head!
The breakfast is amazing and I was extremely shocked about the way breakfast was far better than at other hotels Also the rooms were extremely nice forsure worth the money even though a little pricey but not to bad
The moment I walk in the front desk girl is cold as ice, no concept of customer service at all. Strike one. Get to my room and there's a Brown hair in the sink. I'm bald. Strike two. The room smelled like a chemical. No strike. The door doesn't close on its own. So if I didn't check it would have stayed opened. Strike 3. The refrigerator was not stable and rocked back and forth. You've been warned, avoid this place. There's nicer out there.
It's a good best western I travel all week all year every time I'm in chico this is where I aim to go.
This is our favorite place to stay in town. We often go get a room foe a few nights just to get away from home for a while. I like that the king rooms have the additional sink near the microwave. The employees sre all great snd helpful and they always can accommodate us even when we show up at 11pm without a reservation and they always allow late check outs for us. Breakfast is great too, almost too much variety!
Great customer service an especially thank you Audrey for your helping my in-laws be comfortable.
Great stay at the hotel. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was responsive and friendly. They immediately switched me to a new room when the AC proved defective.
The showers were stuck on freezing cold and the room smelled like pee. Just had a room that wasnt that well kept up with as it was dirty.
3 starts because the staff are amazing, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is great.except one thing. I don't know iff its all the rooms, but my room had no sound proofing. So I heard the whole argument (which was not a loud yelling match) they were just arguing all night. Literally, at one point she said, "It's 3 o'clock in the morning, I don't know what you want from me, I just want to go to sleep. " To that poor girl, yes I know your name but I'm not going to put it for the whole internet to read. She knows who she is, if you are reading this: honey, you can so much much better than that self-centered sniveling, selfish, jerk. You need to let him go. Almost anyone is an upgrade from him and you are much better off alome.
Our rooms air was not working right they moved us, air really struggling in that room also, the stay was ok but at 90 degrees at 3am in the morning maybe they need to update air conditioners, but best western is still my favorite, just update air
Exactly what you'd expect of a Best Western. Consistent quality, clean. Of course not the Ritz, but just what you'd expect of a Best Western. Efficient, friendly service. Good pool and hot tub. Well maintained and clean as well. Pretty sure it's heated because it should have been devestatingly cold and it wasnt. Good wifi and breakfast.
Checked in at about 1130 pm. It's 90 degrees outside. We get to our room and the AC is off, I turn the AC on and blows hot air only. I contacted the front desk to notify them that our room is extremely hot if we could change. Front desk guy states that the rooms they have left are all like our room with the broken AC. It is now 1 am and I'm awake because it's way too hot. Why would you rent rooms without adequate cooling systems.
We checked into the room and it was a little warm. We put the luggage in there, turned on the A/C and left for about two hours. We came back and the room was still totally warm. I tried to call downstairs and the phone was dead. I tried to open the window and I could not open it. I went back down stairs and told Jessica the problems. She said the maintenance people weren't working. All rooms were taken/full and there was nothing she could do but advised me to force the window open and turn the A/C up higher, to a warmer temp, and maybe it would work. I go upstairs, my son gets the window half-way open. However, we can't leave it open. The window is missing the screen.
Also, in regards to cleanliness of the room, there was a used towel from a previous guest in the bathroom behind the door. No one cared enough about the problems, thought a discount would appease me. But what I wanted was to be able to sleep at night without the hotel room in the 80's. I had a very hard time falling asleep and did not sleep well at all. Outside, in the hallways, was cooler than the temperature in our room.
Got biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Gravy was totally cold!
Son got waffles and syrup. First syrup (individually packaged) was open and spilled everywhere. Staff concerned to clean it up but not about it being all over my hands. Totally ignored me.
Worst Best Western I've ever been to.
Nice and typical hotel. Clean. The breakfast was very nice with a few more than the usual options.
