Best Western Plus Gardena Inn & Suites

Outside looks a bit unsafe. I know it's too be expected hence the location. Only one way out. The outside does not look clean and looks like apartments. Inside it's nice And it looks clean. You do need your hotel key to go up the elevator and to get in the hotel after a certain time. Example we got there at 1: 00am and we needed our keep hotel to get inside the hotel. But the room, I immediately noticed a pad wrapper on the sink, toilet paper in the toilet not fully flushed and black coating on the toilet seat which I cleaned with toilet paper. The towels had hairs on them and the Bathtub had pubic hair too. I did reported that right away and ordered new set of towels. Breakfast was good. The cleaning ladies were complaining in the breakfast room amongst each other in Spanish of all the mess, we as paying customers on a vacation, leave. Front Desk was nice, friendly and very responsive and respectful.

We enjoyed a spacious room and a decent breakfast. I would come visit in the future but with my own pillow. The filling in the pillows were all lumped but it's a good sign that it was all washed I guess.

Room was very spacious and clean. Front desk was professional and we got checked in quickly. If you drive here there are many places to eat that are only a few mins drive.

The only thing I can complain about is that the room cleaning crew was quite loud while they worked.

Erica at this location is extremely rude and disrespectful.when i was explaining my situation she said i needed to take it up with the third party that i booked through and when i explained which one i did her response was “well whatever one you did has to do this not me” so i contacted their customer service and they sent me back to this location and they did exactly what i needed help with.

Newer hotel with large, well appointed rooms. Rooms come with fridge and microwave and have nice TVs. Not much nearby except a few fast food places, but there are restaurants and shopping in the area. Very safe hotel as a key card is required at the entrance at night and for the elevators.

Been to this exact location/room several times I love this hotel all the staff are very professional and friendly I have to point out my favorite niomi I see her every time she’s very welcoming and makes sure my stay is comfortable overall this place is clean smells good comfortable beds omgee it’s hard to leave my kids love the breakfast offered 5points from (DaSmithFamLee)

No breakfast no bathroom on main floor no place to sit outside. Card kept stopping to work.

Very nice hotel with pretty decent rooms which are quite spacious & clean. It was fully equipped with all amenities.

The breakfast area was lively with lot of food options. I really liked the french toast. The staff was very friendly and provided good service throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the town.

Booked the king bed with a Jacuzzi. The hotel facilities was great, secure parking, friendly staff. The two guys at the front desk were very professional. The hotel room was clean, smells great and the place was more than what I expected. I took pictures of everything to show how great this place is. A great place for a shirt couple get-a-way.

Just didn't like the Deposit Hold on the Room, to be refunded in 5 business days. NOT GOOD. HOLD YES IMMEDIATELY RETURN DEPOSIT AT CHECK OUT. I WAS FROM OUT OF TOWN AND THAT HOLD REALLY PUT A DAMPER ON MY VISIT. I DIDN'T LIKE THE HOLD ON MY MONEY.

Great hotel. I have book the same style room a few times, the king bed with a Jacuzzi. The hotel facilities was great, secure parking, friendly staff. Hotel pictures are strategically taken not to show high gated fence or surrounding neighborhood. There is only one-way in and one-way off the property. The hotel location is very odd for area and i would not recommend walking after dark. There were no restaurants in the immediate area. I had no issues with the room or staff, just did not feel safe staying there and would not return.

Had a nice stay here. I have to admit the neighborhood looked a little rough when we pulled in, but all the people we met were nice. There is only one entrance area with fences everywhere, and they have covered parking. Never had an issue with safety.
There is a taco bell, 7-11, and burger King within walking distance, as well as a gas station. There is a food4less and CVS pharmacy around 2 miles away.
The free breakfast was nice, my kids loved the options they had, like cereal, oatmeal, eggs, hashbrowns and pastries. They even had a hot chocolate machine, my fav!
Rooms were nice and clean. The counter in our room had a crack in the side that had collected dirt and looked dingy but not a big deal. Just normal wear and tear for a hotel. Nice big shower and they gave us orange scented lotions and shampoos. Pool was tiny and gets very chilly in the evening.
We drove to Crystal Cove Beach because it was cleaner and more family friendly. Took 50 min but worth it. Wanted to try the free Getty museum but ran out of time. We visited the Old LA Zoo and that was fun. Would stay here again for sure.

Sorry this review is long but it is a helpful review and hopefully will answer a lot of questions. I will book this hotel again for sure. While looking for a hotel for our family vacation my husband wanted a Double Tree or Hilton but honestly this being a 3 star hotel, with a Google rating of 4.5 stars, I think I got a better deal here at this Best Western. Especially compared to $400 a night. Nah we got a way better deal and way better bang for our buck here at the Best Western. The rooms were clean and at the price I booked I thought I was just getting 2 beds and a desk, but I actually got a loveseat, and 3 chairs not counting the chair that was with the desk. Lamps so I didn't have to have to have the room super bright. I was able to also have it nice and dim. Great AC. We booked for 3 nights. Room service came everyday even though all we needed was the trash taken out and fresh towels everyday. I worked at a Hilton was I was younger and we didn't even ask guest if they needed fresh towels until the 3rd or 4th day. Free parking, we even had 2 cars. 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby. No coffee maker in the rooms though. I felt that was ok, because going out of my room to the lobby gets me a couple of steps in. Have to have your key car for even the elevator to work, which I honestly appreciate the extra security. Some may not like that but I don't blame hotels having to go through extra measures because of misuse of rooms and reasons for booking. A wide variety of breakfast options from yogurt and oatmeal to eggs, burritos, pastries, bagels, cereals, waffles, fresh fruit. It was even better then the Hilton I used to work at, and that was a new Hotel when I worked there, had only been open 1 year. Very kid friendly hotel, the breakfast room has beautiful decor and ample seating for families. Me, my husband and 3 kids, (ages 13,10,2), very much enjoyed this hotel and seen other families having a good time too.

Didn't like the location at first but liked that there's a few drive thru restaurants near by. Rooms were not so clean carpet was dirty.crumbs in the drawers.not enough towels and toilet paper no blankets for sofa-bed.breakfast was not the greatest same thing everyday but better than nothing waffles, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, toast, bagels cereal, oatmeal some fruit.breakfast was over at 9 not 10 it ended as soon as everything was gone lady didn't care to refill.parking lot was filthy.we saw a couple of hookers on the parking lot.but the rooms were very spacious bigger than other hotels we've stayed in beds were comfy but the pillows were tiny and not comfortable.micro and fridge were a plus.

Been here 3 different times with my girlfriend and I always promised myself I will leave a review. I finally am. I have to admit that tis place is amazing. The hotel staff are extremely friendly too. Love the proximity to essentials. It's my go to in Gardena
