Best Western Plus Grosvenor Airport Hotel, South San Francisco CA

2 star hotel at best. Street noise and noise from neighbors, parking is $9/day (should be mentioned on the Best Western website), bad smell. I guess the free coffee is fine & staff is pretty nice. Should not be a “Plus” in the name. Also, my bed probably had bed bugs.

Located 2 miles from San Francisco Airport.
The majority of the Check in staff were great unfortunately the gentleman who had the AM shift on Monday 10/2 was not very personable.
Unfortunately they had a kitchen fire so no restaurant service and Breakfast choices were slim.
The rooms were clean, but the bathroom is very small and tight for one person.
You can clearly hear airplanes taking off and landing also!
I do not think I would choose this hotel again…just ok!

Woken up at 7am to employees protesting. Plus, honking cars to support. Dated room, no sleep with the constant loud traffic and very noise AC units from all rooms. Other quests going into their rooms so drunk and loud for another hour. Not a happy quest.

Probably the best service I have had from a hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was fully stocked and had a large variety of options. The rooms were clean and the showers actually had hot water. The free hotel shuttle is also a plus.

Accommodation is not bad
Bring your own toothbrush and slippers
American breakfast doesn’t have vegetables, I’m not used to it
There is only one nearby food store
There is a McDonald's opposite
The hotel has a shuttle to the airport, so make a reservation the day before you go.

Be aware of the bedbugs/ticks.

My husband and I stayed one night on the 7th of Sep in order to catch an early morning flight. We both felt very itchy on the flight and discovered we each had at least over 30 bites on our bums. We brought it up with our travel agency and the hotel refused a refund with the given reason that the issue was not brought up during our stay. Does it make any sense that we checked in at midnight and left in the early morning but somehow, just somehow, we should have woken up during the middle of the night and discovered the bedbug/tick situation?

Also hey be aware we are traveling from Spain, so all your staff’s “secret” swearing words about the other “gringo” customers- we understood.

Painless from start to finish.check in was simple and smooth.all prices and deposits where given up front.parking is $9 but most hotels in the area are charging over 35 so 9 bucks was nothing.highly recommend this place.i am a light sleeper and even thought we where close to the airport i was never woken up once buy noise.

I really liked this hotel, whenever I come to SAN and stay there.however it is no longer of the same quality, the service is not good at the reception and the breakfast removed the eggs, bacon and sausage now there is only bread plus a few things and some sandwiches to warm up. Quality has dropped a lot I recommend looking for another hotel it is very bad, the air conditioning in the rooms looks like an old plane engine makes a lot of horrible noise

The breakfast was acceptable (tea, coffee, deca, yogurts, fruit juice hard-boiled eggs, jams, 3 savory dishes, pastries, bread, waffles, fruit, and rice)
ATT on the book in the room is marked breakfast from 6: 00 a.m. To 10: 00 a.m. But it's 9: 00 a.m. MAX and at 8: 45 a.m. The girls start packing up
You have to ask if you want the cleaning and the bed to be made.
ATT when you take a reservation for a room you can have a bed with 3 sheets which means NO blanket. I asked for 1 in the evening, the next day when cleaning was taken away from me.
The washing machines were HS from our 2nd day (we stayed there 10 days. Luckily our daughter made us machines)
All this for $200 a day
I forgot the fire in the kitchen and therefore 1 morning without breakfast but no excuses nothing

Stayed here for convenience for work related for couple weeks.hotel really outdated rooms are dirty wit ripped furniture and dirty carpets windows don't really closed so you can hear the freeway all day and night. Most the rooms and hallways snell like casinos cigarette smell mix wit cologne I had to get my room change multiple times because cigarette smell coming in the room from rooms next doors I let receptionist know but they didn't care if guest smoke in there rooms all they said was let us know wen you move to your new room so we can sell the one out. Smh unless u like cigarette smell don't stay here

Bianca provided the best customer service. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She made the check in process so easy. The rooms are very clean and are fully stocked with what you need

Pool was closed. Kitchen was not opened at all because it caught on fire. Was never told about this when booking and should have been. We had to move rooms because the first one the window would not shut correctly. Toilet didn't work very good and the fridge was leaking water. The staff however was very helpful and nice.

Bathroom was in need of faucet repair, but still worked.

Staff is awesome and on point, definitely disappointed in the shuttle not being 24 hours, or atleast at 4 am wasn't available l, for my 5am flight.

Other than those small details, I use here frequently, when I fly out of SFO

Away from San Frans traffic but close enough to get back quickly, loved it, Pacifica Beach is so close by, great spot, it is now one of our favorite places to stay while in the bay

Decent hotel, actually wallable to airport, if you ate brave enough. Loved the Brass Elephant restaurant downstairs! Good supper and great free breakfast.

The receptionist was very nice and efficient.
Beautiful rooms, very clean. Rooms are well equipped. The room has a coffee machine, a small refrigerator, an iron.
Clean shower room. There are enough towels, shampoo, conditioner and conditioner, normal breakfast.
In summary: a recommended hotel.
