Best Western Plus Irvine Spectrum Hotel, Lake Forest CA

Very disappointed, the air conditioning stopped working throughout our whole stay. We found a cockroach on the bed. I reported to the front desk and they didn't do anything about it.

7/10 Average hotel. Rooms are spacious and there everything you need in a hotel. Rooms are smelly which I think is from the carpet cleaning with not enough air or sun to dry. Good location and good breakfast.

Very nice place to stay. Rooms are big, breakfast is awesome. Pool is nice. Friendly staff. Will be back!

Nice hotel. Compared to most Best Westerns I've stayed at this one had a better breakfast with real eggs and meet and hash browns. It's also dog friendly which is nice since we were traveling with a dog.

This was a great place to stay, we gave the double queen beds to our kids, and we ended up staying on the pullout sofa, it was spring massage all night. Preferably better for lighter kids for next time to sleep on the sofa.

This was fantastic, pool, spa, very fun for my daughter. The restaurants are close, freeway close, breakfast is awesome and location is great. Rooms are spacious and clean!

Room was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. Two queens and a couch that made into a bed. Plenty of room to move around for 5 people.

Everything was perfect for sure we will be coming back this is our second time this yr staying here, I can say the employees in the cafeteria are the best they treat u like family greatest nicest people ever they deserve a lot more, thank u!
the only thing a lil negative is that I was charged a different price than the reservation I had done online like 7$ more a night because I had put down pet friendly (I didn’t have a pet) was asked in the front desk if I had pets, she asked if she can put be a none pet room I said yes thinking the price was the same and no the surprise was I was charged more a night and she never told me about it either I should of asked that got me as a surprise!
But other than that everything is great
For sure we will be coming back soon

The room we had came with a separate living area and bedroom which was really nice. Very small balcony that looks over the pool area. The room had a funky smell. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a very nice big deep bathtub, but every time you turn on the water, the pipes squeek the entire time. As far as customer service, the people up front are rude, there were only 2 nice people that we saw, a middle-aged man and a younger college looking man who treated us nicely. The rest were rude and acted like we were bothering them.

We wanted to extend and keep our room but somebody booked it and we couldn’t keep it.but Rita called all the guests and managed to get us the same room without moving. Thank you Rita for helping you’re amazing.

Great room for our family of 5. Bed and sheets not as comfortable as I'd like however, we will stay again when in the area. Breakfast was great.

Okay so recipient was fine, the lady helped explain about deposit situation and that it would be refunded in 3-5 days and she was right. Room size very acceptable and price wasn't that cheap.

Excellent attention at breakfast, everything impeccable by the hand of Miguel and Francisco who made my stay, like being at home, extremely friendly, I would return just to see them again Thank you and all the hotel staff

Room is nice but weird.
Bathroom sink is in bedroom and lighting is pretty rough for getting ready for day.
Breakfast was very good.
Grounds were great.
No no services for dogs.
So not sure why pet fee is high.
No place to take pet

Breakfast is exceptional!
Building itself looks bit old, but well maintained and cleaned. Receptionist and staff are also nice and friendly!
