Best Western Plus Marina Shores Hotel, Dana Point CA

Perfect location for what we were looking for. Breakfast buffet is always a plus for me! The rooms were a good size with decent views on a sizeable balcony. The tub was deeper for taking baths and it came with jets! The staff was very kind and courteous, especially the ladies attending the breakfast area. Super helpful, super sweet and very kid friendly. I would absolutely stay here again. The only reason for this not being a 5 start is the bed. Like all the others, not so comfortable. Everything else was great though.

Very nice stay at the Best Western Marina Shores. Within walking distance to the Dana Point Harbor where you can find shops, restaurants and the various fishing and boat tours. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast was very good and the staff friendly.

I made last minute reservations for last Saturday.
Called that morning was told that there was a king bed room available for about 214.00. Eileen was helping me. I asked if she would match any price I found on line. She said that she could lower the price to 194.00 and will give us a jacuzzi room!

The hotel was nice and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

What a great find. All the staff are super helpful and nice. My room is super comfy. A short walk to Doheny Beach…. AND the hotel is pet friendly…. Couldn’t ask for more.

The right poular place to relax. Cable TV, Tub in the rooms, pet friendly and free breakfast in the morning.

My personality didn't fit here. Some workers were very nice, and I am so very grateful, but no one would help me until I got very upset. Then I was told to calm down, but no one ever apologized or offered to help. I am disabled with a heart condition and I brought my cat, they sorta accept pets but they don't respect your wishes and be prepared to PAY so beware they are not a friendly helpful place for the disabled, you are on your own in this area and at this hotel.

I have never seen better service then the people at this Hotel especially the lady at the front desk, The price is fantastic

I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be staying again. I had the room with spa tub and was very pleased. Nice hotel and staff. Decent breakfast, pancake machine was cool and they tasted good, only wish there was a protein like bacon or sausage (typical breakfast staple) not chorizo and egg.
The TV kept glitching no matter the channel so that was really annoying. Bed was stiff but still a decent sleep. No noise issues for being a sat night.

I’m two nights in and while sitting in my jacuzzi watching wrestle mania at the same time I felt inclined to leave this review (which I will update when I leave). Lady at front desk was so welcoming with my animals it really felt nice. My bed is so comfy too!
Edit: I just checked out today I had to check out early the front desk helped me obtain my refund from Expedia. Also one of the front desk employees gave me an enormous amount of snacks one of the nights here and I am very thankful for that!
The cleaning crew was always so nice and always offering anything I needed because I had a big dog and didn’t want them to come inside.
Seriously I felt so welcome here and in a very testing and vulnerable time in my life it felt so incredible to be treated kindly and with respect. Thank you all so much!

Really nice hotel. Just gave itn4 stars because even though we got a whirlpool tub, there were no bath salts.we had to call.add to that the toilet was clogged when we arrived. Other than thar, great hotel and excellent location! Close to everything!

Everything fine rooms great view hospitality and everything but how are you going to charge someone a price that's for the days before come room extension "you put it on the tab" but come check out it's a whole 200$+ and under a totally different name and address and say can't do anything because she already clocked out that I still have to pay the difference came in before check out for wed today on Thurs ask for extension you put it on tab as if it was still wed price not thrus price now am checking out early and you give me receipt with Deanna and a different address on it no no no and no sorry first time here at a western and killed it for me sorry

Nice and people working there were awesome but walls were thin and you can here everything including creaky doors.close walk to the beach.serves full breakfast.

Christine at the front desk was amazing! She from the start was sweet and accommodating. It was my birthday the day we arrived, my boyfriend and I asked about local restaurants to have my birthday diner at, the place she recommended was great, great views of the harbor, food was wonderful, the restaurant even printed Happy Birthday with my name on it! Our room was so nice and clean. We had a view of the beach. The breakfast area was clean and the food was delicious. Again Christine really made our stay there even better.
