7Great Location close to Stanford University has been newly remodeled and the best bed I have slept in years. Very nice staff and will stay here again.
Nice little Hotel, well run, very clean with a moderate cost. Close to everything. We will be back. Thank you.
The hotel got 2 stars because the staff was excellent (better than most far more expensive hotels I've stayed at) and the breakfast is reasonable.
The hotel is close to the train and is right on a busy road, so it's loud. They even have earplugs on the bed side table. The hotel is nice and seems to be clean, but there were still a couple fruit flies so no stars there. The location is good enough and you can walk into downtown, but you will be crossing some big roads to go anywhere.
The hotel worked for 2 nights, but I wouldn't want to stay much longer. The staff truly were excellent.
No shower bar in tub. No safe in room. Good helpful staff. Close to road constant traffic noise
We checked in and dropped off our bags early in the day, came back after doing our business, sat down and a roach popped out. I have lived in the area and bugs are not uncommon and pretty difficult to keep out of old buildings. I told my SO we should say something but I wasn't surprised due to the age of the building; she decided to look around to make sure we weren't going to sleep in an infestation. When looking under the bed she found what looks to be bloodstains at worst, or at least bio stains of dubious origin. (See photo).
We gathered up our things and went to the front desk, the woman on duty was also aghast and made it right by immediately issuing a refund, we went somewhere else for the night.
If someone from BW reads this, I don't want anything other than for you to make this right so that it doesn't happen to someone else, I've stayed at BW many times and this was the first time anything like this has happened.
This was room 114, the tape in the picture was already there and also labeled 114, someone clearly saw this and left it like that?
Great rooms, perfect location. Staff is very helpful and always welcoming.
