Best Western University Inn Santa Clara

It was a hassle free stay. Nothing extra ordinary though.

Some minor fumbles from cleaning staff but overall they did a great job.

Enough parking spaces and easy to drive into/out. The location is close to several food joints.

Staff was excellent! Room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was great! My only criticism is the toaster. There are very few heating elements that work. Toasting a bagel on the Bagel setting at the top level still took two drops to get any "toasting"

Don’t trust review and Priceline review. Motel style, and stay here for a week then asked for a late checkout, been told just 1 more hour. Room is ok, breakfast is simple. If looking for similar as a inn, not a good choice but better than other motel.

Loved the entire experience. Breakfast was great, loved the gym and my room. Super awesome employees.

Ants were covering on our floor when we first walked in (even with no food in the room) We asked for our room to be cleaned multiple times each day and it wasn’t cleaned until the third day of our stay! I spent at least 30 minutes each morning getting rid of the ants. We had to empty the garbage on our own so that more ants wouldn’t come into our room. They kept saying our room would get cleaned but I had to ask four times before it finally was. On top of this, they gave us one roll of toilet paper for a five day stay. I added
a star for the housekeeping staff because they were very kind but something should be done about the organization, attentiveness, and timeliness to resident requests.update—even MORE ants came into our room. I called the front desk early in the day and again later in the day to get the room cleaned. Again, it did not. Front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend staying here and never will again.

Good WiFi and pretty spacious rooms, really nice pool, there are some fun things to play at the pool!

Like staying in updated motel, retro with modern rooms. Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Room can be hard to block out the morning sun and you need to like a firm bed with fluffy pillows.

Only gave us one roll of toilet paper. Room had bugs in it, and continental breakfast waffle mix wasn't made right and was burning in the waffle maker.

Not worth the price, from my experience. Guests that stay here are noisy, not the best area. Rooms are ok—feel old and stale. Breakfast is lackluster. The daytime front desk worker was condescending and rude upon my arrival.

Not a terrible hotel, but not worth the the nightly rate whatsoever.

Very unhappy. Rooms were not up to Best Western standards, asked for room service on day 3 of visit, no show. Parking a absolute nightmare

However breakfast I must say was pleasant and had a nice selection. Frontdesk help was exceptional. Though these were pleasant exceptions, we wouldn't stay again.

I loved this BW! Clean, large rooms, welcoming staff, centrally located, and nice amenities.

Do not stay here they have bed bugs I told the manager & he literally said he couldn’t do anything for me. I’m calling corporate & I’m filing a bedbug lawsuit

I love Best Westerns in general but the service at this one was really amazing. I arrived at 8: 30pm with a crying tired baby after a horrible experience at another hotel we just left and Dave was a super star! He breezed us through check in and interacted with my baby to help ease him. And when we had a small issue with the toilet not working he came up quickly and in good spirits. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. This is definitely going to be where we stay every time we go down.

Pleasantly surprised for motel access. Room was clean and staff was professional, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend. Have paid way more for way less.

Major vacation vibes! You totally forget you are in santa clara right off El Camino!

Smells great. Super clean. Great modern sleek kinda look. Love the darker tiles with all the mirrors!

Next time I will definitely be making time to use that pool!

Can't forget the little soaps! They smelled great and that lotion was SO silky!
