Bethel Church Redding

Attended this school as a student K-6 grade and trust me do not attend! This place is a CULT! They were more interested in worshiping how good God is instead of take care of a kid that almost died at school.

They let so much bullying that had led to so much trauma for me down my path. The kids of the pastors were so entitled and were basically celebrities.

There were so much racism and so anti-LGBTQ sermons that really just goes against the teachings of love that the bible teaches.

I will not forget how this school put me through! Please do not attend.

Pathetic example of a so-called "Christian" church. Bethel is a cult. No church would have applause for the pastor. Bethel puts all of its emphasis on Bill Johnson & other heretics on its staff. Run like Hell away from any church that has trance-inducing music in the background while the "preacher" is speaking. It's amazing how many demon possessed members of this "church" give any money to Bethel. AVOID THIS BLASPHEMY AND ANYTHING TO DO WITH BETHEL. PUT BILL JOHNSON IN JAIL.

I drive 1.5 hrs when I can to visit Bethel as I love this church and I feel so does God, I believe God favors and delights in this church.

Bethel is a true carrier of Gods Manifest Presence to the highest degree. God is free to move in this amazing church, with heavenly body of believers and it’s delightful to visitors and I believe God as well.

I’ve been taught tremendous lessons from Pastor “Pappa” Bill and I am do grateful to the Holy Spirit for the revelation I got, to give this church a chance as I was skeptical. I highly recommend anyone curious visit Bethel more than once, 10am service and 6pm service are my recommended times.

I listen on Spotify, can't wait to see the glory in this place in person. In looking through the reviews, all negative reviews seem to negatively review every place they've reviewed and are unsatisfied with themselves. Jesus feels the pain you reflect onto others. Praying for your freedom from whatever is blinding you from the truth.

I normally don’t go to these type of churches. I also don’t go here as much as I’d like to. But I love that everyone has always been respectful to me and I enjoy coming the times I do come.

A great & authentic church that I am very thankful for! Brought me so much further in so many areas of my life! Awesome people! Check it out!
No one here wants to convince you of anything. People just love on you & are hungry for more of God.

- bethel book store (great collection of different books and resources)
- Hebrews (great Coffeeshop to get in touch with other people from all over the world)

The best church I have ever been to. Love everything about it the people, atmosphere and what they stand for. Their one true desire is to love Jesus whole heartedly and that’s truly beautiful.

I grew up in Redding and this "church" is nothing more than a cult that preys upon the poor and the weak. Look into bethel theology and place it against the teachings of scripture and you will find that Bill Johnson is nothing more than a false prophet as scripture says he is a wolf in sheep's clothing. If you are truly a born again saint stay away from this cult.

Guest speaker the Sunday I went, one of the best church services I have ever been to. And I’ve been to probably 100 churches in 4-5 different states. Churches of all kinds. Loved the staff the worship the coffee the whole experience. Amazing message and full of good clean humor!

Absolutely awesome. You can feel God' s presence. I go every chance I get- I'm a few hours away.

I've followed Bethel online while living on the east coast. Now I have the privilege of living in Redding, CA! I've experienced many encounters with Bethel people, those who rent rooms and those who have been or are in BSSM, and those who attend the church, and it’s not at all what I expected.

But now I’m editing this review. It’s been brought to my attention that Bethel is a very large church and I should be more careful about not generalizing from the people I’ve personally met and interacted with. The Word of God is taught, and the name of Jesus is exalted.

I'm definitely going to visit here soon love the music its what got me into worship songs god i look to you.

You wouldn't be give anything less than 5 star review if you know what this church is doing and how the leadership has the heart for the community! We felt pain seeing some of the comments on this social media platform because it is only coming from one perspective. Most people want to be treated and when something doesn't seem to fit their needs, they immediately turn their back on others and use the social media to hurt them. Social media is truly helpful in many ways but it can be mis-used with random immature users today.
