Bethlehem Center, Visalia CA

Bethlehem Center is seem to have forgotten they are affiliated with the church. They drink on the property and have no compassion anymore.

Unfortunately it seems thr thrift stir2 here is closed indefinitely. They are completely food oriented now. They generously serve lunch to anyone who wants it but be advised you will have to line up outside the fence, and there will be a lot of homeless, not so much the colorful ones that all fix bicycles and are living 5 year campouts while they wait for ssi to het approved. Its more the mind there own business types (its completely safe, but don't be too social there, there are a few there that wouldn't hesitate to con you ot swipe anything unsecured. And keep in mind thats coming from a known hobo sympathizer like myself.) alternatively this place also offers food boxes, you can get one issuance per month. Foodstamps and such not required.however you must arrive in a vehicle, wont bw served without one (too many people were getting the boxes qnd cherry picking just a couple items and wasting the rest)
The food box time changes every couple months it seems. Right now its like 9am to 1045am i think. The gate tp drive onto the property will be open if iys right time. If gate closed no boxes currently. There's a sign that saus when open behind the gate when closed. Ohh bring an id to get your box. You can get 2 if have a passenger that doesn't share food. Like roommate or neighbor.

They give breakfast and lunch some are good food can't be picky they help with hygiene and clothing but are limited

This organization is doing a tremendous job feeding and helping the community. Everyone from Ana the director to those that distribute or serve food are awesome. Please support this organization through donation they use it wisely and it goes right back to our community. Thumbs up to Bethlehem center.

Freely feeding & clothing those that need hope. Food give aways for familys every day hrs. Vary but usually around 10 am. Catholic ppl with a heart after god!

I have been helped by this center when I was in need. Now I am in a better place, so I can help and I donate in return.

They've lied every time I went in for help and the older women has always been very rude.

Food for the economically challenged Tulare county resident given each weekday from 1-3 thereabouts, They're amazing! They also serve hot meal everyday for lunch in the dining room @11: 30 or 12.

Lots of services. Laundry voucher, help with housing and finding jobs, clean clothes and a hot meal.

Yes they do have a guard use a metal detector as you go in to eat but come on its the northside of town its for your own well being.now the food and services are hands down the best
