Mark's session was one of the most powerful sessions I’ve ever had. And I’ve had lots of great bodywork sessions in my life— truly astonishing work.
I’ve known Mark for a couple of years from the Anatomy of Emotion course in my YTT. The course has found me in the right moment when I lost my father. The materials of the course and Mark's work are rich and inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine and Jungian analysis. It helped me tremendously to process grief and the depth of the loss.
Years after the course, I could finally meet him in person. I had a rough summer, and even though I did have a therapist and other resources, no one was able to see the depth of what needed to be seen and said out loud in a compassionate way. Mark’s sessions are twofold: conversation followed by deep tissue (in my case). I have never had a deep tissue massage as any practitioner would start doing. I can’t handle it, and it’s too painful. I haven’t felt that with Mark. I trusted his work tremendously and allowed myself to receive it on a deep level. My body needed it, and the deep work I had never experienced — felt exhilarating as I was emboldening to feel so integrated with my whole self. True talent.
Mark works with clients on a multi-linear level; he’s a true healer, and if you’re into that, that’s the right place for you.

Truly a one of a kind experience. If you are looking for surface level bodywork or a gentle massage, this is NOT your guy and you should probably stay away. However, if you are looking to get to the root of your pain/deeper experiences and unearth stagnant energy/feelings/emotions then Mark’s technique is exceptional. He draws on a range of practitioners and modalities and helped me to actually metabolize deeper pain that I had not consciously realized I was holding in my body. It’s been a few weeks since the session and I’ve still been feeling the micro-effects of the session. The experience is easy to put into words, but if you are curious about yourself and willing to examine your deeper patterning, I highly recommend a session.
