Bi-Rite Market reviews
21Best family style gourmet cares about the community and sustainability of the world kinda grocery store. You get the best quality goods from knowledgeable super friendly people. You will pay good money for it but it's always worth it! Such a fun place to shop. Oh yeah. Super fresh high quality local organic produce and meats. I love this store!
People too close together, they are not doing a good enough job limiting the number of people in the store or enforcing appropriate distancing. Would recommend anyone to stay away.
Such a small space filled with a deli, bakery and fruit and vegetables market, as well. Of course, my favorite part of the store is its lovely flower stand out front!
If you wanted to find specialty cheese, wine, fruits, or packaged items, this is the place to go. I mean where else can you find Mandariquats? If you were to buy regular produce, I would avoid it because this market is overly pricey but also super busy. This market fits into the bougie SF narrative. Though, I'm really amazed by the variety of items they have here such as flowers, fish, sushi, cheese wall, and wine sheves. The icecream is pretty good too.
Sooo good. Absolutely love this store. Always fresh and tailored. Great ice cream and a top notch butcher. But hey, you're going to pay a hefty premium for the curation and quality.
Come for the groceries, stay for the ice cream! But then leave, otherwise the line of people behind you will get even longer.
Best place, second home with friendly service and everything I want to eat. It can be a bit on the pricier side, but worth it for local and fresh.
What can I say, this is an incredible market for foodies. Wonderful rare and not so rare artisanal treats from local producers and non local specialty brands. Space is really tight though and it gets crowded so it’s hard to walk around. And it’s expensive, but that’s too be expected. But if you enjoy eating fine foods and don’t mind spending a pretty penny, the quality and selection can’t be beat. Think of it as a well curated mini whole foods.
Triple-priced groceries for triple-priced egos. Realize that if you shop here than you likely are the type of person that ruined San Francisco and are too brainwashed to get it.
Found almost everything we were looking for, still looking for a grocer that carries apple jelly (not apple butter). The soft pretzels at checkout are awesome, just right, not too salty. They have a great selection of produce as well, got a box of delicious, organic, sweet strawberries.
This store is magical. Not huge but their products are the absolute best. Plus the prepared foods and ice cream are out of this world.
If you like quality local food stuffs and helpful staff then you will like bi-rite market a lot! But your wallet may not: - (. And if you just like ice cream or to people watch then you might like it too!
It’d probably be easier if I just had my paycheck sent directly to BiRite. This place is the best.
The staff are so helpful and the selection is shockingly vast for such a tiny story. Oh, and grab some of their incredible ice cream once you finish shopping
Really lovely market, their cheese selection is amazing and I love seeing where all the produce are from in local areas. The ice cream is honestly the best I’ve had and they have really interesting seasonal flavors that you wouldn’t expect. And the lines are way shorter here than the actual creamery!
I can't lie it is pretty exquisite in terms of quality. My chef friend says he NEVER sees the kinds of seafood they often have which is amazing since BiRite is basically a fancy bodega. It is extremely expensive, and does not have cheap options, but it is very convenient. Basically all areas are awesome, including notably the flowers. The ice cream actually is that good, apparently good enough to cue for.
Super helpful staff, an awesome selection of just about everything and an amazing deli n ice cream parlor. And street parking is easy to find.
It's like walking into the best farmer's market, everyday. My interactions w the staff has led me to believe I want to work here some day.when I feel I need a whole lot of real human genuineness, this is where I come.
Everything in this Supermarket is top-quality because all the items are curated. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are high but what do you expect this is San Francisco.
