Big 5 Sporting Goods, Rancho Cucamonga CA

First time in this location, standard big 5, great deals on everything, always happy, the young man at the register today was very friendly and helpful, I will definitely be back.

Big 5 is one of the smaller outdoor activities store when compared to basspro. Big 5 has alot of different brands and items you will not or may not find at the bigger brand stores.

Can't buy anything here, because I'm surrounded by fishing and hunting equipment - very offputting. I just want to buy the gu hydration tabs, so I can do that at the bike shop, but they last a long time and so I have enough at home to not worry about.
There's no bathroom.
I do like how the massagers are really cheap, but they never advertise that (it's hidden away in the store), so I bought the same one for a much higher price at a location far away because of it.
The employees don't really know where their own products are, nor know much about them. You'd need to practically open the item to learn about it, which is impractical to do.
They have some nice items that're inspiring, like gel for baseball mitts. However, I can buy or make it myself - or get it better elsewhere - so I don't actually buy anything here. Some items are really overpriced too - it's hit or miss.

Overall, I didn't like the experience and don't plan on going back - the company should be more ethical if they want my business - they keep selling guns, so now there's an increase of crime in the city, because people are so proud of being gun toting around here - it really makes me want to move out.

The staff was really friendly, not to expensive either. Got me a cast iron skillet, gonna cook me up an amazing breakfast you don't even know! Breakfast for dinner!

Came for soccer equipment for a 5 yo. Asked where I could find a size 3 ball and youth soccer socks. The employee just pointed. There were 3 just chatting at the register. I could not find what I was looking for so I left

I found these people inside working there to be Very helpful and willing to answer any of my questions and even informed me about quite a few things I really didn't know. Very organized and stocked store and I found the atmosphere very friendly and I'd be willing to keep going back there A+

Needed some dumbells for the wife. Got a pair of 10s and 15s, came out to 150 dollars for 50lbs of weights. Usually you'd want to find things closer to $1 per lb. Wife wanted them so we bought them. They were the last ones and were dinged up. Way over priced but that's what you get for going on store. Better to order online. Store cashier was nice.

Not the greatest selection. They are very limited. Not my favorite spot. The one in fontana has better selection and more options. May i showed up on a bad day

Called ahead looking for a bike rack for a SUV they had a great selection everyone else was sold out online orders only don't count Big 5 out!
