Big 5 Sporting Goods - Downey

Tried to purchase a knife. Seems like no one wanted to help. Finally some one helped after 15 minutes. Would only let me see one knife at a time. Could not compare knives. Did not purchase item.

They have a lot of sporting equipment packed onto this small space. Pretty good prices, but some things were a little over priced. The staff was really helpful and friendly

The employees at this location were so NICE! THEY have the BEST customer service! They go above and beyond! Definitely, if you are trying to decide which Big 5 to go to, SHOP AT THIS ONE! HELPFUL, CARING AND PROFESSIONAL! Thank you Big 5 employees ^^

The employees are always nice and professional. My favorite Big 5 even though it is not the closest one to my house i rather drive to this one. Stonewood mall is across the street and there is alot of places to eat around this area also.

Called asked for a specific pair of cleats said didn't have went to Whittier they called Downey said they have there they didn't bother to look

Great customer service.they have just about every.this is a pretty big store.you should be able to get what you're looking for

Worst customer service ever two store associates where laughing at the back at the question we where ask for fishing rods and we need some rods that you can pull out and make them short so it can fit in my car and they had no clue so they walked away.

They have a lot of great sports gear and sports clothing. I gave it only 4 stars because they need to carry women's clothing in larger sizes no xxl available

Staff is very friendly and professional more than willing to help you with your needs and answer any questions you may have truly enjoyed my visit will return again

Went in looking for beach some tents for four because the website said they had some in the store but NOPE all they had was tiny ones that seat maybe two! So to keep it from being a total waste tried taking the questionnaire to purchase a gun but NOPE the person that gives those was not there either. Waste of time!

They always have what is advertised here. I know that is how it should be but you would be surprised how many places I go to were they are out of their sale items or don't have my size. They have everything for your sporting needs there and the prices are not bad.

Usually good, today very poor service by two associates. First associate we asked for assistance, she just pointed and brushed us off. I guess it wasn't her department. Another associate actually walked us over to where the product we were looking for is suppose to be and called someone to assist us. Unfortunately he must missed his break or something, instead of getting a helpful solution. We got attitude, kinda take it or leave it, so we went to the competition.

Great customer service. Staff is very knowledgeable and patient, they were extremely helpful in helping me choose the right camping equipment.

There was a guy in the back who help me some and the girl in the front needs more training to greed customers.just like the savings very much

The place is very welcoming. The staff give it an extra welcome when you walk in. Found exactly what I was looking for. My son came out very happy with his new cleats.

I don't know if we came at a bad time but today employees weren't helpful.my husband needed some assistance and got someone's attention.the guy seemed very irrate and like he just didn't want to be there. I wish I caught his name. Well we made our purchase and left. Last time were visiting this place.nimodo.
