Big 5 Sporting Goods - San Diego

Came here for some shoes had Travis running all around for us and he was a fantastic salesman. Found us shoes exactly how we we wanted them. He was very patient and attentive it was really nice. Will definitely be back with service like this!

Not very happy with the customer service Carolina one of the employees seem like she really did not wanna help me out I felt like her phone was more Important then her customer

Great selection compared to other Big 5's or sporting good stores. Found the hat & tennis shoes I wanted! Good sale this Easter weekend!

I was followed by the manager they will make you feel like a thief. I've been shopping there for years, that'll be the last time. I understand they may have a problem with shoplifting but you can tell they totally profile.

Sports Area is the location to go! Larger store and more selections! Great customer service and no issues with parking. We purchased a starter rod & reel for my son. Very affordable.

Bought some nice flip flops and did some browsing. I usually go there for camping gear. Not too friendly customer service though. (That isn't the norm)

Staff is visible, friendly &helpful. Better than average selection and variety of sporting goods. Plenty of parking.

There is free parking. The employees are helpful. Tell them what you are looking for. They will find it for you. There prices are reasonable

Unfortunately didnt have our size we were looking for, but I do have to say the man in the shoe department names Cody was so nice polite customer service 100 Percent, answered all our questions and he was swamped! Give him a raise!

Always a great selection of foot gear esp, skate shoes. The cashiers though can plenty of times get negative. They could use a course in customer service.

Overall well stocked and fair value. Watch for the weekly and daily ads as that is where the great deals come in. Employees are friendly but tend to move a bit slow causing waits at times.

A descent selection. Sometimes overpriced. Rather a crowded store up front with too much shelving and merchandise when I was last there.

Karla was great! Called her and she held last Razor scooter for me. Got there and Elaine greeted me right away. Jason was very kind and carried the scooter to my car since it was heavy. Prices are great and lots of sporting goods to choose from.

Just a chain store with employees. Sometimes their helpful, other times you go for shoes and you can hear them talking on the other side of the department door and they won't come out and help you. Ok prices if you dont walk out in bewilderment. But there's not alot of choices anymore.

I had good service I was able to get everything I want it yesterday have a parking area it was easy locate from the street

Always have a sell I can benefit from. Where else can you buy shoes that were $49.99, On sale for $11.96 + tax?

I have to say that I was a bit disappointed I have been shopping at big 5 for many years bought 3 pairs of tennis shoes two pair were exactly the same just different color charged a different price for one pair over the other sales person in the shoe department did not inform me of this and was not displayed in price on shelf I still bought the shoes but walked out with a bad feeling. Same though as maybe it was just a bad day as a look like there was 2 other people having issues with product or the store Long wait.

You can find some really great deals here and a bonus if you have a coupon. It's not a huge store, but they do have the usual sporting goods store products. Last time I was there, they had beach cruisers on sale for $99.
