Big 5 Sporting Goods reviews
12Omg the ammo prices here, well everywhere, but especially here are outrageous. It is crazy what big 5, a retailer that probably gets a good bulk price is trying to charge for ammo. It's had a full selection which is no surprise considering what they are trying to sell them for. No joke, a 50 rnd box of generic. 40 ca fmj was $85.
Big store behind relatively inconspicuous entrance with large selection of teasonably priced hiking gear, less overpriced. Personnel attentive and helpful.
Its ok. Don't compare it to the big stores. Its like the Harbor freight of sporting goods.
Good place for relatively cheap sporting goods and shoes. This store wasn't as chaotic as other Big 5's. I came for slippers and came out with a 49er hat, swim shirt, and workout gloves. Buyer beware, especially when you're shopping after a couple of beers
FYI this is a 5/5 store hands down, great ppl. This store is actually very tiny compared to the others but it does it's job well. One reason for a 3star rating is it's location, so bad, it's not their fault but it's rough. Another reason is there hours, for a store about, u know, camping and fishing and such, why open late? Would be grand if they were open by 7am, but no much later in the day. Other than that it's a good store.
Good store, only 3 stars because they were out of some things I needed. That's okay tho. I'll be back:)
Sales rep named Jack in the shoe department was awesome! Didn’t have what I asked for but gave me two great suggestions.
Small store with kind of a random layout, but if you know what you are looking for they often have very low prices. The store location is super convenient and there is never a long wait at checkout. It is hard to use the fitting room, though.
Employees are helpful and informative. Nice when you feel welcome somewhere. Being six foot two with tattoos.not many people talk to me. Great place with good donuts in same shopping center.
Sold " manufactured defective bat" in their own words. And would not refund after not even a week of use for a 6 year olds tee ball bat completely dented the bat in. I was givin just about every reason why it was not gonna happen. There are scratches on the top. It looks used. Did you use the right ball? Blah blah blah. Terrible service by the managers. Will not be shopping at this store again.
Went in for a pair of shoes and was immediately was greeted upon arrival. Went to the shoe area and was helped very quickly. I tried on 4 pairs of shoes and bought 2 pairs. On the way out I found some shorts for a great price! Excellent customer service and check out was a breeze.
