I can always find a sale on a variety of products. I never go anywhere else for active wear and exercise equipment, because their prices and service, can't be beat!

They had what I was looking for and then some. The store is clearly well maintained and the staff were helpful, friendly and professional. I'll definitely remember this place for when I need sporting goods in the future.

The employees at this store wrongful accused me of being with someone who was stealing, because their own laziness and lack of intelligence.they straight told me that the person i was with just ran out the back door with a pair of clearance shoes.while i was in line buying hundreds of dollars worth of goods.i told them that they were wrong and that the person i was with was at the gun counter, and not one of them checked.they weren't even going to let me buy my stuff at first.their names were vanessa and brian.i am pretty sure that the girl was the manager.and after she found out she was wrong.i didnt so much as get an apology

Don't really shop here that often. Went looking for a specific type of golf ball which wasn't there. The manager did everything she could to help me find and possible locate them within the store. Wound up ordering them off of Amazon. Stores need to have better website descriptions for on-line ordering only or in-store availability. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Easy to find everything you want you need and they help you if you need it they ask you if you need help

Really disappointed to be turned away and kicked out of the store because I don't have a mask and they don't have any disposables left. If you're going to demand that people wear a mask all the sudden then you ought to have enough masks to give them one.

Love Big-5 - Best prices for the running shoes I was needing. They feel amazing and the customer service was awesome - as well as very informative. Great job Big-5 keep up the great work.

Even though the items have been shifted around. Everything was still easy to find and well stocked. Just look up to find what your looking for.

This is by far one of the most unprofessional, non customer oriented Big 5 sporting goods in Bakersfield. They are not at all customer oriented. I really tried to give this place a shot but the employees here make it impossible to like. I'll just take the trip to another sporting goods store or even the big 5 on Ming. What happened? Well I went in for some snow pants which I found laying on a box on the floor and decided to see if there was a large in the box, at that point the cashier said please do not look through the box until the product is on the floor. So now I have to wait until they stock the floor. Whoever knows retail knows that when a customer is looking into a piece of equipment that's on the floor you take your time and help them. Not tell them to wait until you as a company decides to stock it. But this isn't the first time. I'm definitely not coming back here.

Not much different than other Big 5s. The location seems like it isn't seen or known, so it is usually not very busy.
The employees, at this location, have to be among the nicest people you ever met.

After visiting the Big 5 on Ming and being real disapointed, i went to the other Big 5 on Mall View road only to be even more disapointed. After patiently waiting my turn i was the only customer left at the counter and as i was being helped by Morad who i beleive to be the manager, a worker by the name of Samuel came up to the counter rudly interrupting Morad who was helping me and whispered something to him over the counter then proceeded to step back waiting impatiently for me to leave. I still wanted to purchase a few more items totaling around $400.00 but i felt real uncomfortable with Samuel impatiently pacing back and force waiting for me get out so he could talk to Morad, so i just hurried up and paid my $30.00 and left in a hurry as i knew and felt unwanted and in the way of Samuel's personel buisiness. I came home and called Morad to let him know how rude Samuel had been and how uncomfortable he made me feel and that i still wanted to buy a few more things totaling around $400.00. Morad over the phone told me the worker Samuel had whispered to him that he wanted to go home because he had diarrhea or somthing. Another store that i will avoid. No wonder more and more people are shopping online.
