Big 5 Sporting Goods, Dinuba CA

Came in to this location in Dinuba, and we were surprised to find everything that we were looking for. My grandson was in search of golf tees, and there was a good selection to choose from. I haven't been golfing in some time, and I never thought there would be so many different types: short or long wooden ones; neon-colored plastic ones; some that even looked like cocktail stir sticks. He chose to go with the plastic ones. I ended up getting him a golf glove, a golf towel on a lanyard, and some decent quality golf balls. Not a bad choice, and still within my budget. This location was very well stocked, compared to other places. I will definitely be coming back to this place, whenever I will need anything.

Purportedly opens at 9: 30 am on Sunday but it is 9: 44 am and the doors are locked, and nobody is here.

The store says it's open at 9: 30 on Mondays but here we are and it's not open at 9: 37.

Customer service was slow needed to try multiple sizes and waited every time for them to come back

Went recently to shop for shoes. Not very busy. Lots of sale items. No one seem to care I was there. I must have been invisible.

Went to look for a fungo bat but the sales associate had no idea what I was talking. When I explained, it still didn't get through to the CSR.

The young man who helped me pick out gym shoes today was super great and knowledgeable! However I was greatly bothered by how Tanya (older lady with curly blonde hair) treated the other employees. When an employee came to ask her a question she was incredibly condescending to him and very rude. I was appalled that a manager would speak to an employee that way. How do you expect your employees to learn when they aren’t even able to ask their superiors a simple question? The simple question he asked was “what shoe size usually goes on display? ” And she responded “you don’t even know? ” And then proceeded to continue to belittle him. I felt so sorry for him! No one should have to work with somebody like that!
